The time has come for a new poll. Many sites around the C&C Community are running similar polls in a combined effort to let EA know what the community wants as far as continued support for Kane's Wrath goes. So with that in mind the new poll is, After the Kane's Wrath 1.1 patch, what would you like to see EA work on next? If your reading this news on the main page just look to your right and vote in the poll box, if your reading this via the forums click here to cast your vote. And, as always, don't forget to share any feedback or comments about this poll as well.
Now to the results of our previous poll, Renegade X VS Command & Crysis - Which mod looks the most promising?. No real shock here, Renegade X won by a landslide with a massive 82% of the vote. And just recently, it appears as though Command & Crysis has been laid to rest, as pointed out by Mighty BOB!. To see the full poll results click here -------------------- |

After the patch? You mean, EA are still going to support KW after the patch? Rofl. Your funny sometimes Sonic, very funny. EA will drop KW the instant that patch is done. I'm still waiting for the TW 1.1 patch, rofl, what a joke that was.
You need an option for, "nothing", which is what will happen. -------------------- |

The idea is to put a positive spin on the subject. I won't go into details but if you vote for the right options it will show EA how serious the community really is. Most are pushing for the Mod SDK.

Eh, its difficult to be positive when your using the terms, EA and support in the same sentence after all. But meh, good luck to the release of the SDK, though imo, they'd be better off making mods for TW, at least that is stable, KW is just a joke.

I think EA should continue to patch botch C&C3 and Kane's Wrath. But what im really looking for is the C&C3 patch 1.1.
Games need improvement before they are modified. -------------------- |

Continue to patch KW of course. If they want to get a good reputation in the competitive market, they should support their titles for ca. 2 years. This is more than most devs would (Let's be honest, most companies are not better in this regard), but in a genre were Blizzard reigns supreme, you need to go the extra mile.

Unlike Lukus, I'm still optimistic about ongoing support. Especially if they are serious about getting KW into WCG as I mentioned elsewhere.
I voted for the patches because it implies ongoing support - and that other things would also be looked at. Focussing on the mod sdk, IMO, is saying we'll make it easier for you to fix things and then wash our hands. Good mods take a while to come out anyway, so the patching is something to maintain interest/cohesion until then. I did want to see other options though Sonic... but patching somes it up best. -------------------- Visit the page and sign up for the Official CNCNZ Xfire Guild. This is one thing I really dislike EA is that they pump so many titles out so fast, they barely support them. Blizzard doesn't make as many games yet they support almost ALL of their titles. Look at Starcraft, it's still gotten support recently. -------------------- |
