I found this picture of the mobile base "Crawler", the name was mentioned in the recent survey, not too sure if its related of sorts or simply fan art.

Why would they use that pic to make an announcement for a continuation? Shouldn't it show something new or was it intended to just "show" the old series that will get a continuation? Of course, there is also the possibiltiy that they didn't yet have any screens of C&C4 available and therefore couldn't use one... I guess we have to wait and see what will be announced at 29th July. Hi ghost_zero, the usage of the old C&C3 screenshot was probably a placeholder picture. I believe at this point of time C&C4 is still in infancy stage, so there you go.

The plot thickens!! I'm not one to speculate but doesn't that pretty much guarantee that they'll be unveiling the next Tiberium C&C?

They said no C&C 3 expansions after Kane's Wrath, but could they not change their minds? That would explain why it does not look like a completely new game...

Wow, interesting screenshot there, hagren. I knew I was reminded of a CNC 3 promotion screen when I saw that blurry picture.
Malevolence, that screenshot refers to it as a Nod "epic unit." It's possible that it's just Kane's Wrath fan art that coincidentally has the name "Crawler." Whatever it is, please don't be Generals 2.
