A fresh new update has been posted on the C&C 3: The Forgotten site. This a massive mod for Command & Conquer 3 that adds and entire for The Forgotten faction. The latest update gives us a detailed look at the story of The Forgotten. Part of this story is Mission 3, designed by Predatore and featuring the Training Grounds created by Kane Nash. Check out the sample screen shots below.

In the Forgotten base above, you can see the Training Grounds, created by Kane Nash. It will permit you to upgrade your infantry forces, the better to take the fight to the superpowers. You can see more images on our Media page.

Sometimes, missions, even missions with videos, aren't enough to give all the depth we'd like to our story. So for those of you interested in learning more about the mysterious Forgotten, we've begun a new series called "Forgotten Fiction." It's a series of artifacts from the time in which the mod takes place. The first one is the Morning Dawn Report, a short GDI Intelligence piece on an operation into the Red Zones and their encounters with the restless natives. Give it a look (PDF) if you want to learn more about our unique universe.

Visit the C&C 3: The Forgotten site for the full update.

Why?`The C&C4 Forgotten units sukk.
I think that the Forgotten in this mod seems to be using far to advanced technology, do they really have the potential and resources to develop all that? I have always imagined the Forgotten as a more tiberium reliant faction. Controlling different kind of mutants and using the tiberium environment to their advantage. It remains to be seen how this is handled in this mod.
It's also a shame that they dont's change the look of the C&C3 tiberium and that they doesn't correct the bad design of the other factions.

Perhaps, but it is a mod, so the story doesn't really need to be consistent with canon, which is arguably ****ed up anyway. Remember, the Forgotten are still intelligent, so there's no reason to think that they couldn't develop technologies.
