With all the staff changes at EALA it seemed inevitable that BattleCast Primetime would eventually come to end. And sadly the next episode of BattleCast Primetime will the last one. Originally beginning back in August 2007, BattleCast Primetime was the main creation of David Silverman, it also spawned 2 spin off shows called Command School and Aftermath. Each show was hosted by the development team, mainly fronted by David Silverman and Raj Joshi along with Community Manager, APOC, always appearing in his corner. It featured many special guests like Joe Kucan. BattleCast Primetime even went on the road to locations such as London, England and Cologne, Germany. Community Manager, APOC, posted this announcement on the Official C&C Forums. Along with a special request for the final show.
![]() QUOTE Hey everyone, Pardon the tardiness and interruption, and as the title suggests, i'm here to announce that the next episode of BattleCast Primetime will be our final curtain call, the final episode. It's the epic conclusion to the BattleCast Primetime Saga. What many coined as the first ever monthly "Sportscenter" show for any game, igniting on August 14, 2007, has evolved over 2 years, over 24 episodes, spanned the globe, and become a C&C community sensation. Love it, or hate it, BattleCast Primetime, and its family of Command School & Aftermath, have carved a gigantic place in C&C history, and won't soon be forgotten after the final "see you on the battlefield". Raj, APOC, The 10, the Main Event, a couple surprises guests, how will it end? With a bang, the same way it started. We're currently in production on the final episode and don't have a determined live date, but I'll keep you posted. This being our last episode, I'll tell you the date when I am 100% confident. We're gunning for the end of this month if you must know. Also, for my final APOC's Corner, I am looking for the best "C&C Corner" Photos to showcase in the background. "Corner" can be determined however you'd like, but ideally, i'm looking for photos showing great C&C collections, you and C&C, in-character photos, you as KANE, the best C&C fan photos to display in my community corner background. Show me what "your corner" is, and you may end up in mine. Submit your photos to APOC@ea.com. With a heavy heart, I sincerely hope the C&C community appreciates our final episode and the 2year+ run we took you on with BattleCast Primetime. The future may hold something new, but this is the final chapter, of this BattleCast Primetime Saga. Looking forward to your photos, APOC Click here for the original thread. On behalf of the CNCNZ.com team I would like to thank David Silverman, Raj Joshi, APOC and the entire BattleCast Primetime production team at EALA for giving us some great entertainment over the past 2 or so years. If you would like to watch any episode of BattleCast Primetime, Command School or Aftermath, check out our Command & Conquer TV section. Every show from the beginning can be found there. -------------------- |

I knew BCPT and C&CTV are going to end for good.
I hope this BCPT finale is at least one hour. I hope it's epic, and it should bring some former guys of David Silverman, Jeremy Feasel, and Greg Black. Maybe it will be better if EALA brings in the entire BCPT cast in one finale episode!! |

I sure hope too, Purplescrin. Let's hope they finish it with a big bang as they said, we hope to expect this promise rather than a smallest puff of wind like C&C4.

Well, at least it has been entertaining from time to time. I mostly liked it when Joe Kucan visited.
I never really enjoyed "the battlecast five" or "the battlecast ten". I prefer watching matches from the beginning to the end, with no cuts. Ah well, bye bye battlecast primetime! -------------------- "He who controls the past commands the future. He who commands the future conquers the past." - Kane

I was never much of a BCPT fan, but this just feels like C&C is disappearing.
The series is like a dying fish, with every twitch, you think it just might survive, but you know it won't. -------------------- |

BCPT had its highs and lows, but its a shame its coming to an end.
This could possibly be the last C&C game we see for, quite a while... -------------------- |

It is a shame that it's coming to end, it was a great concept.

Everything has got to end sometime. It's sad to see it end, but it is better to go out with a bang than with a whimper - or slowly.

Y'know... I think C&C4 would probably suit the battlecast five or top ten.
It's a shame the game doesn't get that boost. I wonder if anyone in the community will try and fill the void? Like GR... -------------------- Visit the page and sign up for the Official CNCNZ Xfire Guild. PM me if you don't get in within 24hrs.

Y'know... I think C&C4 would probably suit the battlecast five or top ten. I disagree. I think C&C4's lack of variable tactics and the need to keep your forces together in a tight bunch would make the games monotonous. Even if you would find it fun to play (I've heard that happens...), watching someone else play it is completely different. -------------------- |

I wonder if anyone in the community will try and fill the void? Like GR... Doubt it. Everyone else who started their own web/video type broadcast soon came to realisation that its a lot of work to produce them. Even our LiveWire project quickly ground to halt. -------------------- |
