    TibED2 Won't Launch CNC3

Hello There, I have installed tibed2 and trying to launch my own mod. After I click build mod, then play mod, CNC3 launches for a couple seconds, then the CNC3 program closes. If I use the CNC3 Control Center, the same issue persists. Can anyone help me out? I have provided my logs in a file for the post. i5 9300h Cpu 1650 mobile Gpu DDR4 8gb Ram Thank you for helping! mylogs.txt
  3. So, who there is familiar with the Tolkien universe alongside Command and Conquer ? I do via the Lord of the Rings movies and the Battle for Middle Earth games. I am going to do something different here for a Command and Conquer fanfic, I am going to write a reimagined Tiberium universe, not set in a splinter timeline of the Red Alert series, but in the far future of the Tolkien Mythos on an Arda where Kane is a fallen Maiar and GDI has the races who fought against Sauron such as the Men of Gondor and the Dwarves and the races that fought in the Dark Lord's name such as the Orcs and Olog-hai in one organisation, trying their best to contain Tiberium's spread (with some inter-GDI infighting). (Besides, I hated the reveal of Command and Conquer 4's Kane being an alien.) (I do not own the rights to Command and Conquer and the Tolkien mythos, all rights belong to their respective owners. The Tolkien estate owns the rights to the properties of J.R .R Tolkien and EA Games owns the rights to Command and Conquer) "Arda has been marred further than ever before. Ever since the arrival of Tiberium in the Seventh Age, Arda has been slowly terraformed into a strange and increasingly alien world. The cause of this? The crystal known as Tiberium, spreading like a cancer across the land, mutating plant and animal alike into monstrous defilements of their pervious forms. Who opposes this crystal? The Alliance of Nations Global Defence Initiative or GDI for short. Pundits say it is a reincarnation of the Last Alliance of old. Putting the races who opposed Sauron such as Men, Half-Elves and Dwarfs and the races who worked for Sauron such as the Orcs and Trolls, however into the same organisation is asking for a turf war to break out. Indeed, I have seen the enemies of GDI bait GDI commanders into fighting with one another and I do not think that their appointment of a new supreme commander, the honoured Orc general, Granger, adopted son of Townes Ironside would resolve a lot of historical issues between the races in GDI." "And who wants to spread it even further? The Brotherhood of Nod, who worships Tiberium, claiming to herald a new stage of evolution. But I have personally seen the horrific effects of Tiberium and their leader Kane, who claims to be a Maiar is nothing but a misguided madman. Nod is only held by the influence of Kane and their fracturing apart into various factions, waring with each other after his purported death shows this. But when and if Kane returns to the living, he can unite the Brotherhood of Nod into the vast army it once was and nearly nothing can stop them in their goals." "And what of Mordor, the the former domain of Sauron? Where the shadows lie and currently called the Black Zone? It has been terraformed by heavy Tiberium contamination, no that is an understatement. It has been altered by the interaction of Tiberium and the remnants of Sauron's power. Twisting and transforming the mutant lifeforms such as Viceroids and Fiends into more vicious forms. Forms that even Sauron and Morgoth would envy at in their defilements. A hellhole further worsened with the mixture of Tiberium and pure evil to the point that even Kane abhors this blasted realm. I see a great war coming. A Second Tiberium War. Whatever the outcome of the war, I hope that the war would not end up releasing Morgoth from his prison deep within Arda and turning the resulting Second Tiberium War into the Tiberium Dagor Dagorath."
  4. The C&C Red Alert History conversion mod for C&C3 just had its Release VI version released. This mod replaces GDI and Nod with Allies and Soviets, respectively. The arsenal of each faction is a mix of all 3 Red Alert eras. This version includes some vehicular additions, as well as buildings for both factions. However, the most notable additions here are the Airfields and Aircraft for each faction. You can check it out here: https://www.moddb.com/mods/cc-red-alert-history/news/release-vi-beta1
  5. So like does anyone know which part of the growth accelerator's code allows this behavior? I tried changing my structure's build placement type and build on flag to imitate the growth accelerator but then I can't actually build it anywhere. Thanks in advance!

    Missing/Lack of Model

Please help me, I had transferred the NOD REDEEMER(KW) to Tiberium Wars. In its xml, i had trimmed down the error inducing Moduletags. My problem was, when i created the said unit in game, it is invisible and does not have any sound at all. I had scavenged some art and texture files in this group, but alas, the game doesnt recognized it. PLEASE HELP ME., i'm a selftaught modder only.
  7. Now here's something different, its a Command & Conquer Board Game. Created by Mathias Detzner, this fan made board game takes the battles from your computer screen to the table. The game itself will not be made available for retail sale. What we don't know is, will the game be made available to others in some form? Watch this video below to learn more. Command & Conquer Board Game is on Facebook, where you will also find a few more pictures of the how the game is set up.
  8. As a New Year's gift, @Lauren (a.k.a. Darth Jane) published an entirely new tool called the Assimilator. The way it works is that it loads any .skudef of a late SAGE game (Tiberium Wars, Kane's Wrath, Red Alert 3, Uprising, or Tiberian Twilight), and then it lists all the W3D animations contained in that game. You can then select any animation, and in the right part of the window, you'll see the XML output of that animation. This way, you won't have to resort to custom art packs to get the animations you need. The tool can be downloaded right here on CNCNZ.com (relevant download pages have been updated). Note that you require Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, or Windows 10 build 1607 or newer with .NET Core 3.x installed.
  9. The C&C 3: The Forgotten mod for Tiberium Wars, over 9 years after its previous update, just had a new release. Version 1.2.0 rebalances the Forgotten units, adds a new Fissure Tank projectile model by Egozi44, and fixes a typo in the Veinhole Monster superweapon's description. It's always nice to see old mods resume development!
  10. As of today, Command & Conquer titles that were released on the Xbox 360 back in the 2007-2009 period are officially available for the Xbox One as part of their backwards compatibility program. You can buy these titles from the following links, or just insert your Xbox 360 disc into your Xbox One console: Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath (currently only the Map Pack is purchasable) Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 (with Decimation Map Pack) Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 - Commander's Challenge I have inquired with Xbox Support on why C&C 3: Kane's Wrath is not listed as a separate purchase like the others are, and it seems it is still under review with no real ETA on when it will be publicly available, just to keep an eye on updates in the rest of the week. Stay tuned for more info.
  11. In this week's Throwback Thursday feature, we put the spotlight on one of the most badass, albeit rather seldom used infantry units from Tiberium Wars - the Black Hand Troopers. Members of the Black Hand were no longer the sneaky bastards like they were in Renegade - by the Third Tiberium War, they decided to drop all stealth and subtlety and go to right into the front of combat. Their members were now primarily armed with flamethrowers, decent black armour, and a cape just to be sure (wonder how it never caught fire?). The Black Hand subfaction in Kane's Wrath had them trained as veteran from the Hand of Nod and was able to refit their flamethrowers with so-called Purifying Flames, a special flammable mixture infused with Tiberium. Also, in Kane's Wrath, Black Hand Troopers were "permitted" to use Black Hand insignia on their chests instead of the regular Nod emblem. Sadly, in practice, they were mostly seen transported in Reckoners. Remember, you can click on the preview to see a larger and more detailed image. Don't forget to check out the Throwback Thursdays archives if you've missed a week. Check back again next Thursday for another Throwback. Send in your ideas for future instalments. 12. Holidays are upon us, so this week in our Throwback Thursday feature, we remember one of the earliest showcases of the Scrin script, released just before the Christmas holidays of 2006. Why, might you ask? Well, once the community deciphered the letters (which were actually used as Roman numerals that indicate the letter's position in the English alphabet), it turned out that it was a lovely season's greeting from the "third faction" (as they were not publicly revealed as the Scrin at the time). Perhaps their Christmas present was postponing their invasion until March. Remember, you can click on the preview to see a larger and more detailed image. Don't forget to check out the Throwback Thursdays archives if you've missed a week. Check back again next Thursday for another Throwback. Send in your ideas for future instalments. 13. This week's pick for Music Monday is Alien Arrival (also referred to in an obscure promo soundtrack release as Time To Take Out The Trash) from C&C 3: Tiberium Wars. A fitting track which was used during the introduction of the Scrin, with an inhibited start and a pounding finish. A new track will be posted next Monday. And as always, don't forget to share this on social media using the hashtags #CnCMusicMonday and #MusicMonday.
  14. Today's Throwback Thursday feature ventures a bit outside the C&C series, but is still linked to it. The Sims 2 introduced a selection of games that the Sims could play on their computers, all of them, naturally, being EA-published titles like SimCity 4: Rush Hour, SSX 3, and others. This list was expanded in the FreeTime expansion pack, and one of the titles included was C&C 3: Tiberium Wars. When a Sim runs the game, the screen first shows the Tiberium EA ident, followed by actual gameplay footage, all of which seems to have at least one Annihilator Tripod firing. Remember, you can click on the preview to see a larger and more detailed image. Don't forget to check out the Throwback Thursdays archives if you've missed a week. Check back again next Thursday for another Throwback. Send in your ideas for future instalments. We also encourage you to share this on social media using the hash tags #ThrowbackThursday, #CnCTBT and #CNCNZTBT.
  15. This week in our Throwback Thursday feature, we put the spotlight on another character in our Ladies of C&C subseries - Lieutenant Sandra Telfair, who was played by Grace Park. Telfair served at GDI InOps prior to and during the Third Tiberium War, under the command of General Jack Granger, and provided intelligence on Nod and Scrin activity. Remember, you can click on the preview to see a larger and more detailed image. Don't forget to check out the Throwback Thursdays archives if you've missed a week. Check back again next Thursday for another Throwback. Send in your ideas for future instalments. 16. C&C:Online, the community-run multiplayer server for Command & Conquer games affected by the GameSpy shutdown, marked its third anniversary yesterday! This year alone, around 45,000 people have been playing on the servers, with the number still rising. To celebrate this anniversary, prized tournaments have been announced for the month of July, as well as a hint at a new and more convenient way to launch the games onto the service.
  17. Over a month ago, the team at GVMERS, who had previously covered the fate of the cancelled FPS Tiberium, created a video on the entire C&C franchise. What you are looking at above is the corrected, definitive version - certain facts about things that happened behind the scenes in Westwood Studios, EA Pacific, EA Los Angeles and Victory Games have been proofread, and each game is now presented in higher detail, in order to better describe what made Command & Conquer what it is, in both its good and bad times. The video is now 10 minutes longer in total, so be sure to check it out!

  19. Back in February, GVMERS posted a video that looked at what happened to the cancelled Tiberium FPS. Today, they have new Command & Conquer video that dives into the entire franchise. The Command & Conquer franchise helped shape the identity of RTS games during the 1990's and would influence the designs of countless similar strategy titles in later years. Even though the franchise ended with a whimper instead of a bang, it managed to create an indelible impact on the history of videogames. Join the team from GVMERS as they take a look at the rise and fall of Command & Conquer.
  20. In this week's Throwback Thursday feature, we remember GDI's first Tiberium-resistant infantry unit (which somehow needed about 50 years to appear), the Zone Troopers from C&C 3: Tiberium Wars. Outfitted with heavily armoured suits, Zone Troopers could cross even the most hostile terrain, and used in-built jet packs to reach barely accessible areas. They could be upgraded with Power Packs, which increased their total health and enabled self-healing, and Scanner Packs, which increased their sight range and gave them the ability to detect stealthed units. In Kane's Wrath, they turned out to be particularly useful when garrisoned in Hammerheads, giving birth to the multiplayer favourite "Zonehead". Along with the GDI commando, Zone Troopers were prominently featured in promotional artwork for the game, albeit in their earlier design which had their heads exposed.
  21. The Tiberium Wars 10th Anniversary 1vs1 $650 Tournament gets started in about an hour from the time of this news update. You can watch the live stream in the video above or catch it later at more suitable time.
  22. Exactly ten years ago, on the 26th of March 2007, Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars was released on PC in North America. Built upon the SAGE engine used in Generals and refined through the Battle for Middle-earth series, Tiberium Wars returned Command & Conquer to its roots with a long and exciting singleplayer mode with all three campaigns taking place simultaneously rather than only one being canon, the debut of the Scrin after a hint at their existence in Tiberian Sun, a great multiplayer mode that was oriented towards the eSports audience for the first time (let's not forget how the game was featured at WCG 2007), and lots of cool units and weapons at the players' disposal. Even some concepts from Westwood's C&C 3 project were reused! The game was released in Europe three days later, and was ported to Xbox 360 in May and Macintosh in August of the same year. What are your favourite memories playing Tiberium Wars? What do you think of it ten years after its release? Let us know in the replies. Finally, if you're feeling nostalgic for the multiplayer, the C&C:Online server awaits you.
  23. The recently released Mass Effect: Andromeda by BioWare appears to make use of assets held by EA that were not part of the series. Above you see the Movie Night sidequest scene, which plays the "Light Infantry" music track from C&C 3: Tiberium Wars. This is not the first time the Tiberium Wars soundtrack was used in media not associated with the Command & Conquer series, as different tracks were heard in Survivor, Top Gear, and Mongrels television shows.
  24. It's been four years since we last heard from the team behind the Tiberian Sun Rising mod for C&C3: Tiberium Wars. Last week, they published a new update on their mod, showing a promo video (seen above) and the new Cyborg Control Center which finally left its concept stage. Click here to see the update. Thanks to our friend Tore for sharing this news!
  25. This week's pick for C&C Music Monday comes to us from the Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars soundtrack. Its "Returning To Base". Another moody, atmospheric track this one. Features a cool heavy guitar riff that I've always liked. Remember, don't forget to share this on social media using the hash tags #CnCMusicMonday and #MusicMonday.
