Red Alert 3 Nominated for Writers Guild Award

The Writers Guild have announced it's five nominees for the best video game writing of 2008 and Red Alert 3 is among the five nominees, along with other popular games like Fallout 3 and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. Here the five nominees.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (LucasArts). Writers: Haden Blackman, Shawn Pitman, John Stafford and Cameron Suey.

Tomb Raider: Underworld (Eidos). Story: Eric Lindstrom and Toby Guard. Screenplay: Eric Lindstrom.

This is rather amusing. Of all things RA3 could have been nominated for, excellent writing isn't really one of them.

The nominations must have been rigged or something. Fallout3, Star Wars Unleashed and Tomb Raider Underworld should get better story writing plot than the overly cheesy and a little mild RA3 writing.

well i don't disagree with the nominee, any award for a C&C game is fine with me laugh.gif

but yea, shouldn't actually WIN this..

Its just a meaningless award, all credit to who ever wins. I didn't even know about these sorts of awards until I found the news.

RA3's story is not exactly the greatest but it works.
