I'm not asking for the exact place where you work, just a job title and maybe the company you work for / would like to work for..... I just think this topic will get everybody to know a bit more about each other and see if the jobs and dreams that we have are similar... So what is your job? and what would be your dream job/career? )Wolf_Demon( 0 Posted June 11, 2004 its about time...these forums are kinda dull....im here all day and only see about 5 - 10 posts a day :? well i dont have a job yet but im gonna be an architect maybe i should make houses that collapse exactly 10 years after its built Share this post Link to post
Saracen 16 Posted June 11, 2004 OK I'll start off..... Not the most exciting start, but i'm sort of unemployed/ working for an agency... they are pathetic i must admit. No work one moment, then a days work, no work for a week, then a full week's work.... I'm being messed around and hate it. The agency like most here in the UK specialises in warehouse work, some of which is quite good, others more like they are ran by power hungry managers who love to boss people around. But i am job hunting and will not give up. Ideally my dream job, or a job i'd be happy to do most of my life (watch the contrast in jobs here) That's to name a few which i believe are achievable in life... everybody would like to be a games tester or a porn star but it aint gonna happen... so lets have reasonable job prospects please  Share this post Link to post

Saracen 16 Posted June 17, 2004 Ideal Job: Profesional button-pusher Crikey how man GCSE's or A-levels do you need for that one  That is actually what alot of jobs entail these days, just doing one monotomous thing over and over again for very little pay.... What gets my goat is that some people who do that type of job doing nothing get mega-bucks!! That really annoys me, and these are the people who have no qualifications to their name! It's us people who have the qualifications and work hard graft and long hours that get no rewards for our efforts... unless you actually have a degree with honours, you aren't gonna get a decent job you enjoy for loads of money with the satisfactory workload that makes you feel like you've done a hard days work..... if that makes sense to people??? Bliss 0 Posted June 19, 2004 That must be why you like generals Current job: Engineer no not that good one sat at a pc all day. i program machines all day telling them to drill holes and make gears and seting the machines up correctly i loved it at the start now 2 years into my aprentership i find it mundane because once youve told the machine what to do you have to sit there and wait for it to do it i liked the idea of doing notthing for 40mins while my machines were bisy but it gets very boring Dream job: Lottory Winer (id only ever go once if i got the cool 1 mill) Share this post Link to post
J-Fire_Man 0 Posted June 20, 2004 Lottory winner. Well, all I can say is only lazy people do that. The chance to win is 1 : 100000000000000000000000000000000. You will need a big luck to win 1 million dollars. Share this post Link to post
apocolyp4 0 Posted June 20, 2004 J-Fire_Man the odds to win the UK lotto are only 14 million to 1 Share this post Link to post
Thierry 0 Posted June 20, 2004 There was somethin about lotteries. The change you can win is 1 out of 250 times the amount of money you can win or somethin. Share this post Link to post

J-Fire_Man 0 Posted June 21, 2004 There was somethin about lotteries. The change you can win is 1 out of 250 times the amount of money you can win or somethin. They are plotting something behind the lotteries. Thats why I hate lottery. Share this post Link to post
Sonic 292 Posted June 21, 2004 I bet you wouldn't say that if you won the lottery J-Fire_Man  Share this post Link to post
Tree 0 Posted June 21, 2004 There is a 40% tax on anything you win in lotteries. So i dont even try. Share this post Link to post
J-Fire_Man 0 Posted June 22, 2004 I bet you wouldn't say that if you won the lottery J-Fire_Man  Maybe, but I never win a lottery. One thing I most hate from lottery, is the same as tree, the tax. That thing cut off the prize. Share this post Link to post
chickendippers 1 Posted June 24, 2004 The chances of winning the lottery are so small it's not worth playing, people just keep believing their numbers will come up and so pour more and more money into it. Money which would be better spent buying me a new computer (and no, neither I or my 'rents play the lottery). Share this post Link to post
