deepblue22 0 Posted December 7, 2011 The only way to make this huge movies addon possible was by replacing the internal movie names of the campaign movies by those of RA:TLF. Because of that, it is not possible to play the campaign with movies while running with the TLF executable. Could you or somebody else make it possible now? I would like to have only one shortcut for Red Alert. Share this post Link to post
AlexB 8 Posted December 8, 2011 For now, you can use this dll here, if you use the english 3.03 version: http://forums.cncnz.com/topic/13909-tfd-104-dev-update-09092011/page__view__findpost__p__188774 Share this post Link to post
deepblue22 0 Posted December 9, 2011 Sounds good. What about the german 3.03 version (TFD)? Share this post Link to post
Plok 319 Posted December 9, 2011 You might try, but Command & Patch doesn't support the German release (yet?) Share this post Link to post
deepblue22 0 Posted December 11, 2011 (edited) Doesn't work. I thought the code is the same except it's The first decade in English and Die ersten 10 Jahre in German. Edited December 12, 2011 by deepblue22 Share this post Link to post
Nyerguds 100 Posted September 13, 2016 Bit of a giga-bump... but this has been fixed in the latest unofficial patches for RA1. I also reconverted all of the videos for better quality (and in all languages), bumping the version up to 3.0 The Lost Files v3 - English The Lost Files v3 - German The Lost Files v3 - French Share this post Link to post
comander starlin 6 Posted November 1, 2016 thanks Nyerguds, how old are these files anyway based on being made public, as i seemed to have missed the boat on that... good old life getting in the way. Share this post Link to post
TaxOwlbear 20 Posted November 1, 2016 Just for completion's sake, isn't there a version with official Japanese subtitles? Or was that only C&C1? Share this post Link to post
Nyerguds 100 Posted November 3, 2016 Sorry, I don't think RA or Retaliation were ever released in Japan. Just C&C1. And I was especially lucky with C&C1 since the Sega Saturn version actually uses the same video format as the PC version, meaning I didn't even have to convert these japanese videos. They weren't subtitles, btw; they were dubs thanks Nyerguds, how old are these files anyway based on being made public, as i seemed to have missed the boat on that... good old life getting in the way.Not sure, lol. I'd have to check my old archives for that. But I found threads dating back to 2006 about the pack, so, pretty long, it seems [edit] Found a place mirroring the original pack. The latest Modified Date on a file inside it is 23/07/2006. So, more than 10 years old, it seems Share this post Link to post
comander starlin 6 Posted December 3, 2016 cool thanks man, i was just wondering when i last looked at the files i thought they looked fermillair. and yes you are right the Sega Saturn has the same video format as the PC so not much work to do there i just had a look at my copy of it Share this post Link to post
Nyerguds 100 Posted December 17, 2016 Well, I still needed .vqp files for stretching them in C&C95, but Gordan Ugarkovic gave me a .vqp generator when I asked him about it. And, to be honest, the format isn't hard; I could write my own. Share this post Link to post
comander starlin 6 Posted January 8, 2017 if you want i can create a copy of the Sega Saturn Discs if you need it, just to compair the NZ localization of the discs? Share this post Link to post
Nyerguds 100 Posted January 9, 2017 Uh. Won't those simply be the same as the PC versions anyway? I got the Japanese Sega Saturn disks because I wanted the official Japanese C&C1 dub. Fairly sure I got CloneCD images of the English one, anyway, to get the Kane end speech in CD audio quality. Doubt there would be much difference with the NZ version. Share this post Link to post
comander starlin 6 Posted June 8, 2017 All good. been going through a phase of collecting old copies and veriants of the C&C games that were release here in new zealand. Share this post Link to post
