UPDATE: As of December 2013 we now have a better local mirror to download from.

Based on some feedback, and some e-mails in my inbox, I felt it was important to reassure everyone about the C&C: The First Decade: Unofficial Patch 1.03 hosted here at CNCNZ.com. While Command & Patch (a sub-section hosted here at CNCNZ.com) is the official site for this popular patch, the file is not actually hosted on our servers. Many months ago the decision was made to host the file off site on MediaFire. This was done because of the massive amount of bandwidth this download was using while it was hosted our server, which in turn was costing us money.

Some people maybe concerned about safety of this file hosted on MediaFire. The file is 100% safe, virus, malware and error free. Below is a short guide to ensure you're clicking the correct links when attempting to download the C&C: The First Decade: Unofficial Patch 1.03.

On this screen simply click on the GREEN download button to begin downloading the file. Never click on anything else on this screen! You should get a prompt similar to the one shown below asking you to save the file.

Click the Save File button and you're done!

Remember, The file is 100% safe, virus, malware and error free. Just follow this guide and don't click on anything else on the download pages other than what's detailed in this guide.

Even if you do click on anything else on MediaFire, nothing bad will happen.

Other than Mediafire, can this file also be authorized into GameFront, Moddb, Strategy Informer and Rapidshare?

Here's another good option. Mirrorcreator can upload files to multiple file hosting sites at the same time. You just choose which ones. That's what I call killing two birds with one stone.

Sorry about that. There were some problems with our downloads database. I've restored a backup, all download links are working again.

I just tested the download myself and the file downloads fine for me, the download should be 214MB.

Go to http://www.cncnz.com...fd-103-rev4.exe and try downloading the file from there.

One thing I haven't announced since we changed over to our new downloads system is that the C&C: The First Decade: Unofficial Patch is not exclusively hosted on the MediaFire mirror any more. When you click the download link here at CNCNZ.com you will get either the new mirror (a direct download) or MediaFire mirror as a back up.

Any way we can track how much that download is affecting our traffic?

Would such a large download suddenly being hosted back on our own server be a potential cause for some of the people having loading issues on our site?
