EA's Summer Showcase event gets under way later this week. It's this Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 1:00 PM PT (8:00 PM UTC), to be exact. The usual big EA franchises will be on show, of course, but the focus for Command & Conquer fans is the slim possibility of some Generals 2 news from this event.

Just to confirm. Nothing about Generals 2 was mentioned at this event. So we continue to wait.

Its been like 7 months since that trailer last year.
