Not while they're facing Von Esling. The third one from the left (not counting the bottom guy in the light brown uniform) is the one who looks like him the most when you see the cutscene MrFlibble linked to.

Blue: ... yeah, maybe not. lol.

I think the general in the yellow circle is Frank.

EDIT: Oops, bit late on this one I see...

C&C 4 ZONE RAIDER AS A CONNECTION TO C&C ARENA?
concept71.jpg
Take a look at this concept's date. 2008 was the year about which C&C Arena was in presumed development, while C&C 4 was, allegedly, made in approximately 9 months (since summer 2009?). Although this particular design did not pass, the unit itself did, likely giving it the status of a recycled, or, if you will, saved unit from C&C Arena.

SIMILAR TIBERIAN INCURSION AND RENEGADE 2 UNITS
Take a look at these three pictures.
CNCRen2_Soviet_Soldier.jpgCNCRen2_Soviet_Heavy_Trooper.jpgSeafNz8.jpg
Although nearly identical at first glance, these units are quite distinct. The first one is a Soviet soldier from Renegade 2, while the second one is the Soviet heavy trooper, also from Renegade 2. The third one is the Nod heavy trooper from Tiberian Incursion, which is similar to the Soviet one, but has a complete mask, a differently shaped weapon, dual exhaust pipes and a more protected cybernetic arm. Notice the same style used in these concepts, which reflects the fact that both games were intended to merge the Tiberium and Red Alert universes. Curiously, all of them have a same date stamp (December 13th, 2001).

CONFUSING RA2 AIRCRAFT DESIGNS
Allied aircraft has mixed designs in Red Alert 2.
RA2_Nighthawk.jpg
RA2_Nighthawk_Transport_Icons.png
The NightHawk Transport is, according to EVA Database, a fusion between the Boeing Vertol CH-46 Sea Knight and the Sikorsky CH-53E Super Stallion...
300px-CH-46_Sea_Knight_Helicopter.jpg300px-BLT2_2-USMC-20070402.jpguh60_1.jpg
...while according to the working name of the unit, "Black Hawk Transport", it would be the Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk.

615px-Harrier_Strike_Alcatraz.jpg
RA2_Harrier_Icons.png
The Harrier, on the other hand, is a McDonnell Douglas/Boeing AV-8B Harrier only in the cutscenes and the cameo.

RA2_Harriers.png
640px-A-6E_Intruder_over_Spain_in_Operat
The voxel actually resembles the Grumman A-6 Intruder instead, which is confirmed by the units working name, "Intruder".

I don't think that #2a is negation to #2, it seems like some leftover cursor from Tiberian Sun.

Maybe #14 and #14a a re related to unit rally points?

As for the blue cursor #16, could it be a naval unit movement cursor?

#3 seems to be an Undeploy cursor, for Construction Yards perhaps?

McNEIL'S SURVIVAL (PARTIALLY) EXPLAINED
MichaelMcNeil_CC2_Real1.jpg
The fact that Michael McNeil was not mentioned as a crewmember of the Kodiak during its crash at the start of the Firestorm Crisis has raised some question marks above our heads. Even though he was the ship's commander, he was officially absent from it at the time. Westwood originally intended to kill him that way, but the lack of any mention whatsoever, combined with a full studio change, led to McNeil's reappearance in the Tiberium Wars novel and the cancelled TIBERIUM, as well as a mention at the start of Kane's Wrath.

Entry 50 will be the final one in the thread, at least until the next C&C is released and more trivia arrives.

SCRIN MESSAGES
The first Scrin message, released as concept art, was decyphered by Issvar, who came to the conclusion that Scrin letters are based on the Roman numeral system.

We have seen some of these in the cutscenes as well, so I have taken the liberty of doing this myself (don't know if anyone else has done this, so please tell me).

In order of appearance:

TIBERIUM WARS 1
TIBERIUM WARS 2

TIBERIUM WARS 3

TIBERIUM WARS 4

KANE'S WRATH 1

KANE'S WRATH 2

KANE'S WRATH 3

Remaining:

Say, Plokite, you're not going to post any C&C trivia involving C&C music that was never released publicly?

Other than the Battlecast Primetime theme, there was one other song unreleased (and still no one confirmed it), if you hear between 4:55 to 6:16 of the video of the BCPT Nov 2009 episode, you know what I am talking about:

Although the musician CB Shaw composed the RA3 Remix, he may have composed the remix for the other half of the Hell March remake performed by "From First to Last".

I'm not gonna post anything at all in the foreseeable future, no matter what I find. I'm unable to keep a daily pace at times, and I'm out of interesting stuff to post.

I know this is an old topic, but I was wondering if anyone had any more information regarding the original C&C95?

In old pictures, it looked like nod had medium tanks and guard towers.  Building skins were also changed.  Were these simply place holders or ...?

Not really the topic to be in for this discussion, but game assets change as development time goes on. In some games it happens more than in others, though these days few developers bother to change their early assets. But back in the mid/late 90s, devs were not above manipulating images with Photoshop-alikes to make promo images for the public. Tiberian Dawn and Red Alert 2 are particularly guilty of that.

There are more WIP screenshots in our gallery, and at CnC-Comm.
