Jade Empire Special Edition is now On The House: https://www.origin.com/en-us/store/buy/jade-empire-1/pc-download/base-game/special-edition

However that Bioware game was originally not for the PC, it was for Xbox, until some other developer and 2K Games publisher managed the PC version of it. So I guess EA/Bioware now supports the PC game with a special edition release.

I guess EA still has some support for some ex-Westwood Studios games. Nox is now On The House: https://www.origin.com/en-ca/store/buy/nox/pc-download/base-game/standard-edition

After missing out three freebie Battlefield DLCs, now another Battlefield DLC is On The House: https://www.origin.com/en-us/store/buy/battlefield-hardline/pc-download/addon/battlefield-hardline-getaway

That game reminds me of Pid..... however, TWO HUGE CONS of this overrated Indie game:

1) Gotta be a 1960s or older sort of game, lack of color and it's all monochrome.

2) The puzzle game is short (2-5 hours) to justify its price tag.... wished it should have cost $4.99 or less. Pid or Super Meat Boy plays far longer than this game.

I wish Limbo is freeware after six years it was released.

All computer monitors were monochrome up until 1977 and only the first computer game, OXO, existed prior to 1960.

Its price tag is currently free, just take it and shut up.

There is little incentive for big companies to make their games freeware, and even less incentive for indie games.

You have a excessive sense of entitlement. While books, music, and film fight to extend their copyright claims into the indefinite future, long after their authors are dead and decayed, some video games are being generously released for free while all you can do is sit there with your money tightly clenched in your greedy fists demanding more.

Shadow Warrior Classic has been free to download in Steam for years now and it is DRM-free. It took a long time to finally get a former 3D Realms game to get a permanent freebie in GOG.

Also FarCry3 Blood Dragons is now in the Ubisoft 30: https://club.ubisoft.com/en-GB/ubi30

Why can't Ubisoft release the original FarCry instead for free anyway?
