Main Executable crash

I receive an error at random points during game play that crashes my game. I can be in game anywhere from 5-30 minutes until receiving the following error:

I have all .exe set to run in Windows 98 compatibility and as admin. I have also tried using the alternate ddraw.dll for graphic issues, but I instead receive a black screen upon opening the game. I have followed all other methods of a fix that I have found through several days of researching for a solution, but to no avail. My copy of the game is legal, so the problem cannot stem from piracy. My OS is Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.
I'm not sure where to go or what to do at this point, so any help would be appreciated.

What version of Yuri's Revenge are you using, the one from The First Decade, The Ultimate Collection or the original retail? Did you patch it to the latest version? Also did you modify the game, because this could trigger a crash ingame as well. If files are modded the wrong way, you may have to uninstall and reinstall the game.
