Good Bye iPhone, Hello Samsung Galaxy S6

Recently decided it was time to move on from the good old iPhone 5 that I've had since October 2013. After much thought I decided to replace it with a new Samsung Galaxy S6 (Black Sapphire/32GB) rather than an iPhone 6s. Having never used an Android device before its a bit strange finding my way around.

Next job is to see what I can sell the iPhone 5 for.

Has anyone one else made a recent smartphone upgrade?

A late but smart decision, Sonic. Also there's something wrong with your signature (it's showing text).

How can it be a late decision? Because I didn't get one when the phone was first released?

Not sure what happened there. All fixed now though.

I love android and my S4. I remember when iphones didn't have cut-and-paste... and the great joy at discovering the android os has a number row by default.

For the connectivity to desktop or for stand alone features in the phone.

(I remember the battery life of the original iphones was measured in hours, with first samsung in days, and my last nokia in weeks.)

Sorry - yes - you DD.

Thanks.

Getting an iphone was never a consideration, but windows and android were a tough call. At the time I was considering the Nokia version... but it was about to go bust... like blackberry... and I didn't want to invest my habits into a dying manufacturer.

I don't even have a cellphone lol :D

I might get one at some point in the near future because more and more online services (even free dedicated servers for some games) require phone verification these days LOL.

But for now i'll do without :P

Wow really!! In this day and age I find that amazing. Everyone I know via work and friends has a cellphone or smartphone of some description. But I'm sure you have your reasons for not having one. While I find it useful to have one, I'm sure life would go on if I didn't have one either.

I have one for work (and for mobile gaming) or er... toilet gaming.

I have no games on my phone. Just something I don't get into. I'd rather use the PS4 or Xbox One.

I could get a smartphone, but I'm too lazy.

Smartphones are designed for lazy people ;)
