Oh, that happened to me: all I had to do was run the setup.exe from the CD manually...you can't use the autorun install shell. If that doesn't work: check your drivers for everything. XP hates a lot of things.

The lasertank already does considerably more damage than the regular crusader...I agree with you that Townes (and Alexander) both need more firepower. Is there a way to make Townes' Missile Defenders automatically use their laser-targeters?

This happens in virtually all such forums. I wouldn't worry about it. Modsonly: you just need to realize that Koen doesn't owe you a damn thing. He's creating a working piece of software for distribution free of charge, in his spare time, completely out of the goodness of his heart.

Will there be more easliy accessable lists of (just for example) all the possible projectiles you could use for a weapon? and such? and are warheads handled the same way as in RA2? tanks, Doomgoggles

If Alpha 11 is released before the next ZH patch, will it be broken by that? Or does it adapt to patches?

Well, against the turrets, the Stealth Fighters do tons of damage. But I'd have to agree that the USA is seriously underpowered now. -
Every other C&C game had walls. Do you think Generals should have walls? Why or why not?

Zero Hour actually further unbalanced the game. If you checked the online stats before and after it was released. (this is averaged) Generals: USA - 31% China 34% GLA - 33% Zero Hour USA - 26% China 31% GLA - 37% The Toxin and Infantry Generals are the top 2, the Laser and Superweapon Generals are the bottom 2. Eliminating the detention camp was a big mistake. Also the Intelligence timer is actually 5 minutes, even though the GUI claims its 2:00

Generals and ZH are easily the most realistic C&C titles ever... Don't find Overlord Tanks intimidating do you? How about Nuke Cannons? MOAB's? Laser Tanks? Col. Burton? A-10's? Scud Missiles?

Yes actually in the S&M DVD there is an option to disable the band and just listen to the orchestra. Well, its more like 'muting' cuz you can still here it a little bit. I don't want to get in the middle of anything here, but why don't you help Koen instead of yelling at him. He's the one whos benifitting the community. No offense if that's your way of being friendly, but the last thing you want to do is piss off someone who's making something you want.

Thanks....I know there are other ways to do it, but I don't want to make anything non-compatible with TibEd... I guess I'll use this thread for my questions, to save space: When I adjust the superweapon and ability timers in TibEd2, they do change the actual value, but not the readout ingame. Same for power usage. Cost, however, will change in the game readout. Any idea why? and will future builds support automatic value detection?
