I have a group of 4 friends who have begun playing C&C Gen. online on a regular basis. One of my friends ALWAYS has a RED ping of around 512ms. Without fail, in 2 out of 3 games, he will loose his link to the game before it is over.
He has a FAST cable line, going through a NetGear cable/dsl router, and no firewall. When we play any other game, i.e. rise of Nations, EQ2, BF Vietnam, he has no problems, and great ping, but EVERY SINGLE game of C&C Generals has him at horrible pings.
3 of 4 of us are network systems engineers, and we'll be darned if we can resolve this issue for the effected other friend.
ANY help or suggestions would be appreciated. thanx in advance.
