I made these blueprints a while ago for the "Birth of a unit" contest on CNCSaga, so both of them concentrate on creating the known tech and getting over technical gaps.
The first one ist essentially a technical drawing of the Renegade flametank.
Though Renegade and Tiberian Dawn take place in the 1st Tiberium War, the flamers are quite different.
To explain this I made a "changelist" leading from the original TD flamer to the Renegade equivalent, engineered by the Black Hand (which is using the better variant in Renegade, as they get all the cool stuff first).
The second one is my own creation.
After the 2nd Tiberium War, the brotherhood lost their pulse cannons and subterranean network.
The stealth tech was temporarily lost and too rare for the common troops.
So why not combine useless stuff (pulse cannon without power plants, subterr. vehicles without tunnels) with commonly available stuff (rockets, cannons, tiberium crystals) to create a heavy sentry gun capable of burrying itself (low-tech stealth) and destroying all kind of enemies?
This would motivate GDI to stay away from Nod territories despite their superior numbers and give Nod time to recover.
The tiberium-core warhead was a simple possibility for "infecting" GDI troops/tanks so they can't return to the newly founded blue zones, I planned them as primitive predecessor for the tiberium-core missiles used in the 3rd Tiberium War (KW).
