  7. If you aren't planning on publishing the mod, you don't even need a .mix, you can just leave the files loose in your directory. A .mix would only make it cleaner.
  8. I having trouble with my XCC MIX Editor when ever i make a .mix for my mod it ends up looking like this . Which is breaking my mod i think. i have Tried making the file as expand11.mix Ecache11.mix and a Elocal11.mix each and separated shp files from vxls and hva's and im still getting the same issue . i have tried compacting the file as tiberian sun and red alert 2 with out encypting it and it always seems to do this. as a result i think some of the Hva and Vxl, annd Shp file are not being read by the .art and .rules which is causing crashing in game. any advice or ideas how to fix this from happening ? i Am using XCC MIX Editor on windows 10 with win 7 compatibility with it run as admin as well if that helps . i have also added the mix files and rules and art if any one wants to look into those to see if i have got something wrong there. Any help would be appreciated . I am not planing on publishing the mod i am just making it for fun and solo play mix files.rar

    @Tore No, that's exactly the kind of glitches you get when loading a savegame of the mission that was saved in a lower resolution. I put code into the game to reset the viewport, but it is tied to opening the sidebar, so if the sidebar is not open it is not automatically executed on mission load.

    Nevermind, I figured it out; NODMilitantRocketWeaponProjectile with MissileUpdate just can't target/force-fire the ground

I'm trying to make "NODMilitantRocketWeaponProjectile" use the old C&C generals Missile behavoir, to act more like a RPG, but the rockets always disappear shortly after they're fired, and I can't figure out why. Any info on this would be appreciated. Thanks guys.
  20. The C&C 3: The Forgotten mod for Tiberium Wars, over 9 years after its previous update, just had a new release. Version 1.2.0 rebalances the Forgotten units, adds a new Fissure Tank projectile model by Egozi44, and fixes a typo in the Veinhole Monster superweapon's description. It's always nice to see old mods resume development!

    @Nongulavu That resolution glitch issue is mentioned in the readme. Just press tab to open the sidebar and it'll perform a refresh that stops that glitching. As for the crash, check if compatibility is enabled on the C&C95 executable. If it is, disable it. Note that CCConfig will re-enable it, because it was made for WinXP where Win95 compat mode worked best.
  26. Bit of a necro... But surely if we use the new AI Schemas and use the playertemplate mixed together, there should be some hacky way of getting this working. I'm gonna give it a go anyway, it probably wont work or cause massive issues, but why not? I can just set it to non-playable but let the Neutral AI access teams as necessary; if I'm not thinking completely dumb here. xP
