    Help please

    Make sure that you put tibed in the right generals file. When that is fine all you have to do to make the nuke reload time shortet is to lower the number in the reload bar. (it is in seconds x 1000) this means that 6 mins (nuke) is 360.000 if you want to get this to seconds divide it by 1000 (360.000/1000 = 360) then you got seconds

    If yoou won't to make units stronger by changing their armor you will only make then have less damage from an attack. For example: If you want tanks to take less damage from other tank attacks (ARMOR_PIERCING) lower the percentage (%) of the that attack. if you want to let infantry take less damage from... let's say irocket attacks then lower the percentage of the armor that the infantry is using for the attack from the roket ifantry (INFANTRY_MISSILE) If you want to increase the speed of units all you have to is go to the locomotor of that unit and increase the number in the speed bar. (don't forget to increase the speed of the unit when it is damaged as well or the difference may be a bit big :roll:

    You should check if you didn't make anything worth less then 0. If you have anything that you can build for that then you can't play it. Else I can only think that you must have changed something else.

    Zero Hour but no Generals??

    I kinda already fixed the problem, I simply removed the Generals.exe file, so that when you get the autorun menu from the cd it will how install, from there I fixed it with that repair stuff. I don't know why it didn't work at first though but it works fine now.
  5. I got Zero Hour now and installed it and it works fine but for some reason I can't play the original Generals. I don't know if this is supposed to be this way but whenever I try to start Generals it give the Message of a serious error (also without tibed2).

    I had that command stuff problem as well with the walls.Do you keep on getting that message? If you do you'll have to give it the original command set and it will woek normally. For those who want to edit the modules that were removed in alpha ten all you have to do is re-install Alpha nine. ( you have to put it in a differtent folder) For example you have the Tibed2 folder you can add Tibed 2a or something else in the generals folder. I work with both Alpha's and it works fine. The only thing is that if you have a file that you work with in Alpha 10 and then go to Alpha 9 that you can't export it in Alpha 9. Or simply put: Don't export in Alpha 9 but in 10 ( if you use 10) To make sure that your Alpha 9 changes show up in 10 all you have to do is save it to the file you are working with. 8)
  7. Did you save and export the mod? If you make a mod(for example Gattling) and you made a change you'll have to save it and then export it. Then in the mod selector you wll have to select the mod you made.

    problem with Yuris revenge

    Did you give it an image with the Art.ini editing? You will have to give it the image of the nuke silo. If you don't know which one that is, go take a look at he original Nuke Silo. ( you'll also see it in the manual editor) (this is about tibed 1.54 right?)

    cant save

    If its about the Generals editor all you have to do is go the floppy/diskette icon that says SAVE MOD. With tibed 1.54 you have to to File and then Save As.

    Yeah, I know what it is. When you have made a new weapon or changed an exciting one and there is no unit using it. (it isn't in use) it will dissapear after playing a game with tibed. To get it back al you hav to do is go to: Make a new weapon. And name it the weapon that is gone. For example: You lost the weapon called 120mm what you have to do to get it back is to go to the part where you make a new weapon and call it 120mm. For your weapon you will have to name it the weapon that has dissapeared. P.S the weapon of the howitzer is called: HowitzerGun

    Radiation and Anthrax

    Is there anyway in which you can change how long the radiation and Anthrax stays in Generals? I know there is a weapon for it but there isn't anything about duration.

    Maybe you made some changes in the game that cuases it to crash when you go from your mod to normal. ( for instance when you allow both battle and spy drone be build and then play it normally it will crash) The only thing else I can think of is to get a new mod ( a clean one) and make that your mod. It should work fine then
  13. A friend of mine has my RED ALERT 1 game. If you are looking for something about an airstrikeyou'll have to tweek stuff with the America and normal paradrop. Make the units that come down on a parachute have a strong deathweaponand make them go KABOOM when they hit the ground. You'll have to tweek some stuff. I 'll also look in my MOD of EagleRed because they have exactly what you are looking for. Namely a paradrop that is now a parabomb drop. I have to take a look... Maybe somebody else can give the manual code of red alert1 airstrike. Come on... Anyone?

I also know that there is mod that has changed a few sides by name and units. you can find it at www.eaglered.net When you get the mod, you have to leave it active after you exit you RA2 or YRgame and then open a new RA2 or YR tibed mod. then you can edit the mod itself and take a look at the side-stuff
  15. well, if you want the soviet MCV you'll have to make sure that Germany isn't an ''allied'' country anymore. (check the country stuff on the firstpage.) Next you will have to make sure that everything goes from Allied to soviet, Country's,buildings, units etc. If you want to make a new MCV from another MCV ( you'll need an image of an MCV) simply copy the soviet/yuri or whatever MCV you want and make it buildable ONLY for Germany. You can do this by checking out the forbidden country stuff. When it comes to more graphics and new buildings and units you'll have to ask stinger or koen.

    Well, if it crashes after you get the first image of generals(that pop-up image with six tanks) then it is in your changes. When in the lower bar (in which you also have the start menu) it goes from Comman.... to Command&Conquer and then it crashes then you have changed something that causes the game to crash. (I've had it myself a lot.

    I'm not really sure but if you get the 1.6 patch and update Generals and then open Tibed2 then exit it and then re-open it shouldn't it do fine?
  18. About your lansa mod... For which game is it going to be and will all the units be replaced? If you haven't got any idea yet you should take a look at: www.eaglered.net They are doing about the same as you only for YR
