No i have just had enough problems with steam to make me hate it. For example not being able to enter my cd key in because steam was too busy. At least my wait was only a few hours, unlike others who were still getting the error 24 hours after first trying to install empire total war. And then 2 days ago my housemate tried to install fear 2. Steam crashed during the install and upon starting it up again and trying again the cd key no longer works as it "is already in use". Older versions of steam used to crash our internet connection within 30 seconds of being logged on, requiring a reboot of the modem.

Its all the other issues that will hopefully cause it to fail. I knew empire total war used internet registration, but had known it was steam i probably wouldnt have bought it. Give me securom over steam any day. Hell i will even take starforce.

Thats because its called Flair vs Bear not Flair vs guy in bear suit. The concept is that he is fighting an actual soviet bear.

Congrats to all the winners, especially the C&C ones. Project Reality is a deserving winner too -
3 Questions with John Cena - He is C&C!

Dont really care if they are wrestlers or not to be honest as i dont know any of them anyway. As long as they play the part right just like any other actor i will be happy. -
That kind of thing is very common in tests where there are large numbers to be marked such as university exams. The tests papers are split up to go to different markers that only mark one of the questions, so in some cases pages are left blank like that to make it easier to split.

They have used many of Franks C&C tracks in Top Gear over the years

hyper threading has been out for a long time, longer than multi core cpus

Then you got ripped off by paying for 2 power supplies and only getting one
-
But did you get both power supplies?
-
Assuming you didnt change any of the details from your last specs update you got this as well. However its more than likely that they replaced the case psu with this one. If they did, you just got ripped off for paying for 2 psus and only getting one
-
If its as bad as you say why are you waiting a year to get something that anything today can do? Or by the sound of your problems a fresh reinstall might even solve your problems, we did get on fine before the age of multicores. My previous pc was a single core and it played COD4 fine

So why are you getting all excited about it?

A 4870 is hardy going to be "pwned" by a gtx260. Their performance is is so similar that is comes down to individual games to separate them on performance.

Its an x58 board, thus 3GB and 6GB are much more common. Besides 3GB is more than enough for XP 32bit, Vista is the memory hog. Getting more ram for the sake of "future proofing" is an absolute waste of money when you can easily go out and get another 3GB stick later on when it will be actually useful, and you will have saved money with the price drop.

There is always going to be something big in development. as it stands this is a long way off in terms of computer development. A lot happens in 12 months in the computer industry. Its not really that impressive to be honest. Maybe when they develop integrated graphics that can outperform the top of the line nvidia and ati cards i will take notice, but i don't see that happening yet.

The keyboard is good, but those z-5500 speakers are awesome. I have a set of those myself and would recommend them to anyone.

Its not the dev team doing it, its the marketing and community teams. And besides i like this a whole lot more than CNC3 marketing
