Still playing Black Ops 2 online. Been having a blast playing it.

Not particularly being two very different games.

Am I the only one who doesn't like this? Why is it that gamers are spoiled brats? As if DRM was inherently a negative thing, which it's actually not if you understand what it actually means. Microsoft was trying to go in a new direction to be more like Steam with the Xbox One and it had some functionality that would have been awesome. Like, sharing your entire digital ****ing game library with ten people... or... having more RIGHTS to your DIGITAL content. And now, thanks to the whining, circlejerking masses, we're losing out. Now the Xbox One is another hunk of plastic with no redeeming quality. Nice job guys. You held digital rights back by five years. Brilliant. Idiots.

Invisible infantry, Art ini

I still use the XCC Mix Editor... :/ -
Perhaps GenTool will lend some assistance as well.

What version do you use? ZH discs? The First Decade? Ultimate Collection? If it's ZH, are you on 1.004? Are your copies actually legit?

So the consumer preview is out and I just happened to have installed Virtualbox last night as well. I grabbed me an ISO copy of Windows 8 x86 and installed it virtually. I've used it on and off today just to see how it works and functions. The Metro interface really isn't so bad but that lack of a start button is going to be really grating. Short of that though, everything about the new OS runs and functions like it did in Windows 7 with some new eyecandy tweaks and some additional functionality like connecting with Live accounts and, of course, Xbox Dashboard functionality as well. Overall, it's shaping up to be neat, but it needs some work before I'd call it done. Though, really, all they need to do is add the ****ing start button again. Any of you had an opportunity to try it yet?

Image isn't required if the rules identifier is identical to the art identifier and file name. -
Invisible infantry, Art ini
Doctor Destiny replied to Stan's topic in Red Alert 2 / Yuri's Revenge Maps & Modding
Does spez.shp exist in the directory or in a mix file? As a point of interest, make sure your entry is named [sPEZ] instead of [spez]. There have been errors associated with non-capital casing in [iDENTIFIERS]. -
RA2 Graphics TS Engine
Doctor Destiny replied to Breathe-0ut's topic in Tiberian Sun / Firestorm Maps & Modding
You'd need to convert the RA2 infantry to the TS unittem palette and downsize them since they'd be gigantic compared to those tiny infantry. Voxels will work fine as well. However, they will look dull and need work done to make them look better. The normals in TS are not as varied as RA2's so they'd need work and resizing again. -
The end of privacy as we never know it before

I feel like these leaks are a good thing. Expose the bull**** behind the curtain... -
Was gonna say... that's IPv6...

Could that writer generalize any further? Holy ****.

Normally we frown upon bumping old topics, but given that this is semi-relevant and helpful for other people who may have similar issues, I'm opening it again.

Plants vs. Zombies 2 announced and it's free-to-play!
Doctor Destiny replied to PurpleGaga27's topic in Gaming Discussion
I'm fairly certain that they'll change that exclusivity. Surely it will be brought to the Android market as well if they intend to keep it as mobile only. Come to think of it, this is a perfect mobile game too. -
There are plenty of touch FPS/TPS and RTS games that work just fine. If they want a PC or console release, act like adults and bombard Eidos with complaints. Ineffective butthurt on forums, blogs and news articles will do precisely nothing for anyone. As a community, we need to mature a little and constantly whining in forum posts... not really helping the image.

EA is Getting Rid Of Online Passes

Then you didn't make that very clear. Cause that's not what I gleaned from your post. -

Console specs don't matter. Never have, never will.

Xbox One and PS4 Are "A Generation Ahead" Of PC
Doctor Destiny replied to Luk3us's topic in Gaming Discussion
Except AMD's 16-core processors are Opterons and they actually suck compared to high end hex-core Intel CPUs. Even Intel's quad cores are far beyond AMD's eight core FX8000 CPUs. Sure, this guy might be accurate towards an off the shelf Best Buy ****box desktop tower, but a custom one built to be a gaming rig will severely outclass any console until such time that either device for gaming purposes is no longer necessary. -
End Crisis Mod Versions, Data, Progress, and more!
Doctor Destiny replied to Breathe-0ut's topic in Red Alert 2 / Yuri's Revenge Maps & Modding
Less wall of text, more screenshots. [EDIT] Why so many additions? I hope they're country specials. Just a PROTIP from a veteran modder: less is more. Polish > all else. -
Need help with super weapons

There's elegance in its simplicity. I run Windows 7 myself and everything works fine. -
Need help with super weapons
Doctor Destiny replied to omar's topic in Red Alert 2 / Yuri's Revenge Maps & Modding
If you're getting main executable errors, you need to set compatibility to Windows 98/ME if XP doesn't work. Syringe is its own EXE and runs independent of ra2md.exe, which is why it's not working. Using Ares isn't that difficult, but, honestly, if I were you, I'd focus on the core game before trying patches and code injectors like Syringe. Not really. All it did was create a successive chain of nuke silos where the previous one was a prerequisite for the following one. It's not very complicated but the results would inevitably be chaotic, yes. -

WARDEATHFUN used Ares with negative prerequisites a ton of superweapon clones to do that one.
