deleted the data/scripts folder and repaired. Works.

I use a different serial number than the other person. It is not the same as what I installed with though.

I did that both times, deleted the Generals folder under EA GAMES in Program Files.

I have the legal version of the game, but in order to play on LAN i needed a different cd-key. I have played on LAN before for over a month without this problem, this is new. I was using CCCLeaner to remove some junk from my computer, might this be registry problem that is staying on even after a re-install?

My base keeps blowing up within the first minute of the game (skirmish or LAN game). I have tried reinstalling C&C Generals twice, doesn't fix the problem. Any ideas?
