    I have my thoughts on this, and have expressed such. But ill let people do what they need to do. 1.06 Patch will basically be high resolution options like C&C95/RA95 now has. There is a bug list, but its not priority until a working connection is complete.

    Bullet's crash is inside Build_Frame(). And seems to be connected to compressed shapes (SHP's). So perhaps there is a shape image that is not correctly saved?

    Why did i not get a email notification of this topic? Anyways, lets have a look... The main goal of this patch is balance. 2.04 is planned as a side project to my HyperPatch project that has a main goal of extending the engines features for modders. so 2.04 is purely aimed at standard players to fix bugs and patch up balance issues. There is no bug list at the moment, but i will most probably use the UMP project as a base. To be honest, UMP is kinda based from the idea 2.04 started. As much as the engine allows, we are focusing on what is already a issue first. There will be minor graphics tweaks, but not a complete overhaul. This could me done, but again, is not a goal. Both of these logic's/features are on the plan list for HyperPatch. If i complete these for HyperPatch, then after some discussion, these could be in 2.04 or above. Westwood maps are under discussion, but not using the Terrain Expansion, but rather tweaking and updating. Perhaps a few community maps included. The UI is staying untouched. Then it would not be Tiberian Sun would it? Tiberian Odyssey and Twisted Insurrection, i am a part of both project teams. I will not base 2.04 on any other project.

    My patch is based on the original RA95 3.03 released by Westwood (or leaked, but you know what i mean). I have my own NoCD code that works perfectly, aswell as the patch contains my own high resolution code, with the addition of HIFI's code that helped me fix the cell drawing bug and allow me to complete my patch feature. RA95 3.03 plays old format MPEG videos, so what codec was around in 1996? Use that.

    I have used HIFI's high resolution patch to fix up my high resolution build. I just overlooked some cell viewport. HIFI has officially abandoned the project and haa been passed onto my control. So in a way, HIFI saved my original high resolution project

    I'm telling you now, RA95 will not play anything other than WWAUD. Don't waste your time. The game supports MPEG video playback yes, but it requires the MPEG to be a older version format and will only play if a VQA is not found and a internal variable is set to "true".

    Correct, i know of this bug. I have no plan to fix this bug in the versions i have released. But in my future patch this will be fixed.

    Not just the engine, a actual converter tool to make the effects and audio tracks the higher sample.

    Problem is there is no WWAUD converter that allows stereo and 44100. So one needs to be rewritten.

    The Red Alert engine can not handle high sampled audio, unless you rewrite the audio engine. Then if you do, all audio samples would not play, everything would have to be re-encoded.
