  1. I really dislike big game-related corporations throwing historic stuff away (without even considering the fans). The Westwood locker was sent to be DESTROYED. That hurts. So I'm happy about the people involved that saved all that Westwood treasure and stored it away. My primary interest is seeing Tiberian Sun FMVs and anything else that can be dug up in higher quality, so I'm hoping that too will see the light of day at some point.

  2. I just published a YouTube video that showcases Tiberian Sun in a very positive light as a less technical review of sorts, focusing more on the atmosphere, style and emotional experience the game can often inspire. I've also put some jokes and nostalgia in there for good measure, so feel free to check it out! Enjoy!

  3. I'm still curious to find out the reasoning behind that whole incognito rival "C&C365" news site stunt that happened around Sonic's departure. That made no sense and was very puzzling at the time. Would be cool and enlightening to hear about it openly if the person involved would like to clear the air a bit.

  4. I've published another video recently. It's not really about C&C, but considering my background and preferences you can find some C&C content sprinkled in there, as you can already tell from the video thumbnail.

If anyone is interested in this type of content or would like to support my work - feel free to give me any feedback, join the community (Facebook / Discord), and/or leave some likes/comments on the videos themselves up on YouTube. It really helps a lot and I appreciate every bit of your support! So thank you!

  5. UPDATE 2019

I wanted to update this thread. I used to make a Tiberian Sun themed webcomic out of LEGOs as you likely already now. I stopped producing them quite a while back due to some technical and time related difficulties. Two primary websites where the comic used to be hosted have both been shut down, so I wanted to reupload the comic as a complete collection without the previous site's branding. The collection also includes a few extra goodies!

I remember not posting the last three or four episodes on every outlet, so some of you might not have seen those if you weren't checking the old sites where it was hosted. The series wasn't planned to end with E13, but the conclusion in that one is a good parting point so it doesn't end on a cliffhanger at least. :)

Thanks again to everyone and I hope you enjoy the extra goodies!

  6. UPDATE FOR 2019:
2019 has been interesting, and I've finally freed myself enough to really get back into publishing content.
I've been working on something in the background, but videos are what I want to focus on now that I can.
Here's the latest upload that touches upon some connection subject matter to think about:

I'm still struggling a bit with relaxing in front of a camera, which shows. But I've taken steps to ensure
I improve a bit faster as well. It'll be interesting to see the changes as I "fix the bugs in my system".
And sorry about the image and audio quality, I'm working with what equipment I have available.

(easy updates and a place to hang out)

Let me know your thoughts if anyone finds this type of content interesting. Thanks!

  7. The site being an info hub is the reason I found it in the first place all those years ago, as it had a treasury of fixes, files and information that I couldn't easily find anywhere else. In many ways, it's far superior to anything EA unfortunately bothered to set up as an official C&C site. And being fan-lead and community-wide interconnected, I trust CNCNZ will remain a beacon of the C&C franchise in whatever form you deem best suitable for the job.

I really miss the old filefront repository type system where "multiple clicks" always got me what I needed. Although newcomers and many of us that are now used to simpler designes might feel overwhelmed if met head on with such a system nowadays. As long as the landing pages remain streamlined to not repel visitors with too much information or lists all at once, whatever systems in place to organize files and information that are one or two click-levels deeper into the site should be good.

I think I can humbly and respectfully speak for many of us in the wider community when I say that CNCNZ's contribution to keeping C&C alive, as well as that of the dedicated staff here, is a true inspiration and that we are very glad to see such a site still around. Thank you for keeping the site going against all odds, many of us (even though not always around to show it) sincerely appreciate it!

We know those were thrown away

Why would anyone just scrap a piece of history that has so many fans in the world? Seems very disrespectful and destructive to the very origins of the franchise. Hearing about such things makes me really sad to be honest; at least donate them to a video game culture related museum under a special license or something where it can be preserved.

I wonder if you'll actually be making games as your site's title would imply...

Check the About and Projects tabs on the main site if you're curious.

Current focus is on making more videos, as what you see currently is just starter content. Fun times ahead! I appreciate any feedback you can give me as well. I'm very new to recording myself and presenting such things, so I have a lot to learn. I'm improving fast though!

  10. I haven't been around much, and for anyone who is interested in what I've been up to, I just published some content that some of you here might find interesting. My post at the W3D Hub community forum explains it pretty well, so feel free to check that out if you're curious!

As you can see in that thread and on the site itself, one of the starting videos is a bit more related to this community as well (the TS video), so that might be a good example of what to expect. Let me know your thoughts and I hope this has been of some value to you! Thanks and enjoy! :)
