I just updated the package, it comes now with all standard+counterstrike+aftermath maps and a new map browser with previews, maybe that helps -

Update: 4 crash fixes for old westwood bugs Supports now loading maps via command line (drag and drop a map on top of edwin.exe) Loading maps with long filenames is now possible, the old limit of 13 chars has been raised to 256 chars External map browser has been added (RedAlertEditorLauncher.exe) -

I hope the forums are coming back, there was a lot of useful stuff in there. They were forwarding people to the Answer HQ mostly instead of the forums, maybe they wanted to get rid of it for a longer time already -

the rules.ini file is called spawn.xdp, you can change and share it like in the old LAN lobby Some day there will be an option to send the rules.ini mods automatically (it will merge the map and the rules.ini into one file) dunno about the map sorting, i write it down! thanks -

If multiple people would have that problem then i could just ship it with different default settings for linux, but i have to say it runs very fast for me on lubuntu so i dont know what might be wrong turn the high res background off as well, it should speed it up even more! -
