    Rookie modding error

Hi and thanks for the reply, Aye the game worked awesome with the mod installed plus 8 players (5 of which are cpu) over tunngle. It was when i sent over the sounds... although I also added several more new units, 2 super weapons and made a host of new rule changes that day aswell So far post change it has worked okay between 2 people and no cpu. All reconnection errors occured with cpu present at about the 15 minute mark when they would delve into post battle lab tech. So might be AI getting confused with rules? Now that I know the resources are local it eliminates room for error. What confused me though is that it would normally crash as opposed to reconnection errors. I think at this point I should maybe just clean install and learn how to package a mod correctly. Tryed xcc mod creator but it seemed dependant on a launcher. So im not really sure what to use or what creates those expand and ecache files that other mods possess. So far its been a really messy edit, but the rewards quick and its an enjoyable experience
  2. Hi, Have been altering rulesmd, artmd, ra2csf and adding shps for a few weeks now. Made hundreds of changes and repacked them into an expand mix then sent to my friends for some gaming. However I decided to add sounds in sounds ini and mixer which went quite well for me since i had properly installed xcc utilities prior to adding sounds. I sent over the sounds along with the xcc mixer program (not the install) to my friends My friends used the mixer to drop the sounds in but since the mixer was not installed it left them with missing vanilla sounds. So i sent them my filebag and sound.idx which fixed the missing sounds but now i have reconnection errors since the games are not entirely identical anymore. What else could the mixer of done when run incorrectly as we did which could cause the game difference?
