  1. The development teams of Tiberian Sun: Reborn and Red Alert 2: Apocalypse Rising have formed a new group and launched a base of operations, called W3D Hub. The entirety of the teams has migrated there, so you can be sure you'll still be playing the Renegade-derived games you know and love. Discussions relevant to those two mods have been ported to the new forums as well, so you will not miss out on anything. Click here to see their forums and greet them.
  2. Three days ago, W3D Hub released the October 2016 Update on Red Alert 2: Apocalypse Rising. Quite a few additions have been introduced in since the last update in June: bots in multiplayer mode including basic infantry and even functional Engineers; fully skinned Attack Dogs, and Spies with the ability to disguise as a friendly or enemy infatnry unit (shown above).   3. The June development update for Red Alert 2: Apocalypse Rising has been posted at W3D Hub. This update features previews of Boris, the elite commando, and Hero of the Soviet Union. A look at the new and improved MiG. And Boris' Laser Pointer, for calling in air strikes. You can also check out a video of the air strikes to see how they work in the game.   4. A new update about the Red Alert 2: Apocalypse Rising mod has been posted at W3D Hub. This April update covers a range of topics such as a preview of the new RA2 Frostbite Isle map, based on the C&C Under Renegade map. Some detailed looks a the Allied Mirage Tank and Soviet Tesla Tank (pictured above). The November update features screenshots of the Airforce Command HQ interiors, an early preview of some land and naval crates.   7. W3D Hub developers always have their hands full with work on the well-known Red Alert 2: Apocalypse Rising, which brings us to its latest development update. Work on in-game structures such as the Allied Airforce Command HQ and building interiors are progressing nicely, along with new concept art exploration and various efforts to improve character models along with other in-game assets. One of the more notable additions to AR is definitely the inclusion of objective markers which help players find weak spots in enemy buildings. Other neat gameplay mechanics such as new ore storage capacity indicators for anyone doing some in-game ore mining are also welcome additions! The team from W3D Hub has been working hard to make sure Apocalypse Rising gets its share of the many improvements that have been going around their projects!   12. Its been sometime since the Red Alert 2: Apocalypse Rising Mod last featured in our news updates. Despite it now being March, you can check out the February update covering such things as a preview of the Fort Bradley map, as well as an early look at the Typhoon Attack Sub and Sea Scorpion.   13. Bluehell Productions has released a Halloween Update on Red Alert 2: Apocalypse Rising. Here, the team showcases the behaviour of the Chrono Miner, introduces the brand-new Invasion game mode, shows off new weapon models, a recreation of the Country Swing map from Red Alert 2 and more. There is also an art competition for the design of a new structure, the Reinforcement Bay, which is open until December 1st. It clarifies the veterancy system, shows the Battle Fortress, Dolphin and Soviet Barracks, new sidebar icons and a recruitment poster for new contributors.
