  1. The Condition Red: Rise to Power mod for Red Alert 3 has received two updated alpha builds this month, the latest being version 0.12. Both of these updates are more of maintenance builds compared to the first public demo from last year, with several bugs fixed and a simple AI added. Click here to download the latest version of the mod.

    About old Red Alert 3

Is there a pre-release version of Red Alert 3? There, many units were slightly different. Or can I somehow get in touch with at least one of the developers?
  3. So I'd like to start off with: I love this series, It was my introduction to video games at the age of 5. So as a fan of this franchise I play lots of it. I'd like to address my problem with skirmish maps not showing up in the single player skirmish map list (The ones I have installed.) Now I have read posts on this forum about going in to User/username/appdata/roaming/redalert3uprising so on and so forth(yes I enabled show hidden files) And followed the steps there and I cannot figure out what my problem is. At first I thought I had to take the map folder out of its extraction folder (The one that’s empty except for the file containing the map and its various accompanying files.) into the maps folder I had to manually add into the RA3 Uprising. The folder contained only one folder a profiles folder. I've restarted my computer, added just the map files in the map folder, put the un-extracted zip files in the map files in the map folder and then extracted them there. Please note that I have: Windows 10, and The Ultimate Collection version Furthermore The Base game Red Alert 3 likes to prompt me a registration key as the Splash screen shows up before starting the game, then asks to re-confirm the key, except it does it over and over and over again when I click done. The key is already in the box when it asks for it. I don't know if this is a customer service issue or what. I will tell you however; I'm pretty irritated with my ignorance on this issue and not being able to fix it. Please if anyone has any information or help on this please PLEASE help me out here!!!
  4. After a 2 week absence, our regular C&C Music Monday feature is back to kick off the new year. With a slightly refreshed look, as well. This week, the pick is "Red Rock for Mother Russia" from the Red Alert 3 soundtrack. A really hard and heavy mix, this one. One of the signature tracks from Red Alert 3's impressive soundtrack. A new track will be posted next Monday. And as always, don't forget to share this on social media using the hash tags #CnCMusicMonday and #MusicMonday.

  7. Still haven't bought C&C games on the Origin sale or dislike Origin itself? Well, good news, as Steam's autumn sale also incorporates C&C games! 8. EA has put its Origin catalogue on discount for the Black Friday sale. This, of course, goes for C&C games, which are 50% off individually and 75% off for The Ultimate Collection. Now is your chance to get that game you're missing. These are the prices for Europe: C&C 3: Kane's Wrath - €2,49 C&C: Red Alert 3 - €4,99 C&C: Red Alert 3 - Uprising - €4,99 C&C 4: Tiberian Twilight - €4,99 C&C: The Ultimate Collection - €7,49 At the time of writing, C&C 3: Tiberium Wars did not have a visible entry on Origin for Europe for some reason.
  9. We've already had one cover of the Soviet March track from Red Alert 3 this week, but here's a truly authentic Russian cover of the same track. Performed by real Russians, complete with vodka and a lot of other references I don't understand. Anyway check it out in the video above.
  10. For Throwback Thursday this week, we continue with the "Ladies of C&C" series. This time, we feature Gemma Atkinson as Lieutenant Eva McKenna in Red Alert 3 and Uprising. She continued the tradition of the Eva name in C&C games, working as the Allied intelligence officer, and also appeared on Victory/Defeat screens for the Allied faction. As the campaign progresses, she develops an affection for the commander, even getting into a conflict with Tanya over him, and the commander is left with a choice with whom of the two he would rather attend the celebratory date after the war. Remember, you can click on the preview to see a larger and more detailed image. Don't forget to check out the Throwback Thursdays archives if you've missed a week. Check back again next Thursday for another Throwback. Send in your ideas for future instalments. We also encourage you to share this on social media using the hash tags #ThrowbackThursday, #CnCTBT and #CNCNZTBT.
  11. There was no Music Monday today, but we're bringing you a violin cover of the Soviet March from Red Alert 3 played by a Russian fan, Anastasia Soina. She already has many covers on her YouTube channel and SoundCloud profile, where you can also download the audio version of this track. In only 24 hours, the video reached over 27,000 views, which is pretty impressive for C&C videos nowadays. Thumbs up for the amazing performance!
  12. In this week's edition of Throwback Thursday, we take a look at a unit design which took three concept stages to reach a final game, and was even featured in a mod in the meanwhile. The Centurion Siege Walker was first imagined during the development of Red Alert 2 as a Soviet unit, but apart from two concepts in two camo versions, it never appeared in the game and was apparently not considered for Yuri's Revenge. In the Premier Edition DVD of Red Alert 3, a slightly redesigned version can be seen, but it was again omitted from the game itself, and in 2009, it finally managed to "crawl" to the fans as the Reaper unit in Red Alert 3: Uprising. It has also been prominently featured in the Mental Omega mod for many years, even in the 2.0 days!
  13. If its Monday it means it must be Music Monday time. Sometimes songs just need to be heavy, and nothing blows out the speakers like "Grinder 2" from the Red Alert 3 soundtrack. Featuring a brutal guitar riff that sounds similar to the original "Grinder" in Red Alert 2. This one is another of Frank Klepacki's contributions to Red Alert 3. A new track will be posted next Monday. And as always, don't forget to share this on social media using the hash tags #CnCMusicMonday and #MusicMonday.
  14. For Throwback Thursday this week we continue with the "Ladies of C&C" series. There are still a few to get through as well. Today we feature Kelly Hu as Suki Toyama in Red Alert 3 from 2008. Suki Toyama, the Imperial Logistical Officer, was the one relaying the Emperor's orders to you as the Empire of the Rising Sun commander through out the campaign. She was 100% loyal to the Empire, as the Toyama family has served the Emperor for ten generations.
  15. Another Steam sale of Command & Conquer games is upon us! Until the end of the weekend, you can grab Tiberium Wars, Kane's Wrath, Red Alert 3, Uprising and Tiberian Twilight for €2,49 each. However, if you choose to buy the entire bundle, you can have it for €9,35. This is your chance of getting that game you're missing, commanders. NOTE: The Steam release of Kane's Wrath explicitly requires the Steam release of Tiberium Wars to work.
  16. A very active weekend is coming up for C&C tournaments. There is a Zero Hour tournament on Friday at 14:00 GMT which will take place in Dubai and is organized by Que Club, a prominent gaming, café and billiard club in the United Arab Emirates, and the total prize pool is approximately 870 USD! The livestream will be shown here. Next up, GameReplays.org will be hosting three tournaments: Tiberium Wars - The Battle of the Titans 2 (1v1) - Saturday, 13:00 GMT, total prize pool of 150 USD Red Alert 3 (1.12.5) - FTW #39 (1v1) - Saturday, 14:00 GMT, total prize pool of 75 USD Kane's Wrath (1.02+) - Pair of Steel (2v2) - Sunday, 12:00 GMT, total prize pool of 300 USD There's still time to sign up for the latter three. It's great to see people still enjoy C&C multiplayer.
  17. It's time for another instalment of our Music Monday series. This week's pick is "The Big Apple" from the Red Alert 3 soundtrack. This one is a funky little track, complete with a jazzy saxophone. Something that should fit right in for New York, the city that never sleeps.... The Big Apple! A new track will be posted next Monday. Don't forget to share this on social media using the hash tags #CnCMusicMonday and #MusicMonday.
  18. It was only a matter time until this, or the other 2 versions of the track were featured in Music Monday. It's Hell March 3, from Red Alert 3. Back in 2008, during the development of Red Alert 3, EA decided the game needed a new updated version of the iconic Hell March. And when you need to recreate one of the best tracks in video game history, you go and get the man who made it the first time, and that was none other than Frank Klepacki. To the delight of many in the C&C Community, Frank returned to contribute to the Red Alert 3 soundtrack. A new track will be posted next Monday. Share this on social media using the hash tags #CnCMusicMonday and #MusicMonday.
  19. The Blaze have picked 14 Presidents from works of fiction who are probably more realistic choices than the 2016 candidates, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, for this year's US elections. And of course there is a Command & Conquer twist to this news. As both President Howard T. Ackerman played by J.K. Simmons in Red Alert 3, and President Michael Dugan played by Ray Wise in Red Alert 2 have been chosen. Click here to check out the full list. Number 1 would be a great President.
  20. Throwback Thursday this week remembers the arrival of the Empire of the Rising Sun's Shogun Executioner in Red Alert 3 from 2008. The Shogun Executioner was the Empire of the Rising Sun's ultimate weapon. An enormous assault walker, heavily armoured and armed with three deadly "Wave-Force Blades" for its primary attack. In addition the Shogun Executioner could simultaneously drive the blades into the ground to release an electric "Omega Shockwave", usually sufficient to destroy structures in the surrounding area. The Shogun Executioner had no anti-air weaponry but it was a hazard to low-flying aircraft due to its height. The Shogun Executioner was also able traverse through water and tread over or on buildings Remember, you can click on the preview to see a larger and more detailed image. Don't forget to check out the Throwback Thursdays archives if you've missed a week. Check back again next Thursday for another Throwback. Send in your ideas for future instalments. 21. Command & Conquer Red Alert 3! I really like this game. Do I like it as much as the older entries? Probably not. I do love the coop campaign, though, and I like the distinctions between the three factions. Anyway, let's get on to the actual game. We start with the first Soviet mission, in which we defend the Leningrad Fortress - not that it needs much defending; it pretty has unlimited hit points anyway. Soviets Mission 1: The Shrike and the Thorn
  22. Its Monday once again so that means its time for C&C Music Monday. This weeks pick is "Shock and Awe" from the Red Alert 3 soundtrack. A hard and fast track, like many of the tracks from the soundtrack. Although there some brief atmospheric moments in this one. As always, a new track will be posted next Monday. Share this on social media using the hash tags #CnCMusicMonday and #MusicMonday.
  23. The Infinite Gaming Sale has started on Origin this week and there are some big savings on Command & Conquer games. Prices have been reduced by 50% to 75%. Command & Conquer The Ultimate Collection - NZ$6.24 Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight - NZ$4.99 Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 - Uprising - NZ$2.49 Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 - NZ$ 4.99 Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath - NZ$2.49 Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars - NZ$4.99 The prices shown here are in New Zealand dollars, they will be different depending on what part of the world your in. 24. Its another edition of Throwback Thursday. This week, we pay tribute to arguably the best and most useful unit in C&C games, The Engineer. And the focus is the Soviet Combat Engineer from Red Alert 3 in 2008. Of course the Engineer is present in every C&C game in one forum or another, but the Soviet Combat Engineer from Red Alert 3 is probably the best example from them all. Armed with the usual abilities expected from any Engineer, along with the extra abilities of digging bunkers to garrison infantry, a nifty inflatable dingy to traverse over water and even a pistol for some defence. In the hands of a skilled player an Engineer, or even many of them, can deal some extreme damage. Remember, you can click on the preview to see a larger and more detailed image. 25. This week's edition of Throwback Thursday continues with the the "Ladies of C&C" series. And its Jodi Lyn O’Keefe as Kelly Weaver from Red Alert 3: Uprising in 2009. Kelly Weaver was the tough as nails, take no crap spokesperson for the FutureTech Corporation, who frequently addressed the public regarding their concerns over FutureTech's research and development of military hardware for the Allies. Remember, you can click on the preview to see a larger and more detailed image. Don't forget to check out the Throwback Thursdays archives if you've missed a week.
