Thanks to CnC Saga for this news. Command & Conquer Domination is a free WAP game for mobile phones developed by KotaGames and published by EA for the Asian mobile social network MIG33. The MIG33 network has 50 million users worldwide. Check out this thread on CnC Saga for some preview screen shots. It looks rather simplistic.

MCV creates marketing reports on the gaming industry's biggest brands, calling them "Brand Maps". One of those brands is Command & Conquer. Just recently, their full report for Command & Conquer was made available, for a hefty cost of £480.00/$US750/$NZ1000, but a news article breaking down the report was posted. According to MCV's report, Command & Conquer games are played 10.4 hours per week on average, among other interesting statistics. ' rel='lightbox'>http://i.imgur.com/FuG3n.jpg So basically, what we have here is C&C by the numbers, which probably doesn't mean much to the average gamer. If you want the full report, you will have to part with £480.00/$US750/$NZ1000. A massive price to pay for some charts and numbers.

So, it's the International Workers' Day, and with that in mind, the team at French C&C fan site CNC Saga has decided to take a look back at that tireless, sometimes unappreciated unit that is present in all Command & Conquer games, the Engineer. Click here for the English translation of the article. The original French article is posted here.

The first Command & Conquer is once again updated. The previous revision of patch 1.06c introduced a system to allow multiplayer maps to function correctly, even if they didn't contain the maximum amount of start positions. With this third revision, this system finally works flawlessly no matter what language the game is played in, allowing you to play online against players who play C&C in French or German, or use one of the many available language packs. This patch mainly contains bug fixes, but also adds a handy new feature. A quick overview: A bug has been fixed that messed up the start locations detection in multiplayer maps for languages other than English A bug preventing mods from loading their own custom music, rules.ini and mouse cursor files has been fixed Added SkirmishPlayers=[1-5] key in conquer.ini, and as option in CCConfig under "Multiplayer". Fixed the option to enable or disable the special credits music The last frame of the SSM Launcher's turret graphics without missiles is now coloured to house colour correctly. Download from CNCNZ.com using the link below. Command & Conquer Gold v1.06c Revision 3 (29.42 MB) Click here for the ModDB article with the download links and a deeper look into the new possibilities.

Trayman and Devils have completed the Polish language pack for the original Command & Conquer, which is now available for download at Nyerguds' C&C Gold 1.06 project page. This 0.72 MB pack changes the ingame strings and briefings, but not spoken language or movies. Still, some Polish fans might find it easier to play in this type of environment. Alright boys and girls I have two problems here. The first is this: I am trying to apply my "mod" to tiberian dawn and i get an error. (See attached screen shot). and if i hit retry it just keeps on going to more errors. It goes on like this for probably every item you can edit in the editor. After which you can choose to run game. But when you run game the changes are not there. Now on the other hand if you hit cancel it closes and crashes. It was fine prepatch. i would like for this to work on this patch if at all possible. If any of you can help me i would much appreciate the help. If not oh well i tried. Now on to the other problem concerning Red Alert. When i alter any of the three games using the editor and apply them (which they apply fine) they dont work in game. Now i have saved the rules.ini as aftrmath.ini and also haven't saved it as aftrmath.ini. TIbed recommends you save but i have done it both ways and non of them seem to work. This problem even applied pre 1.03. again i would like to maintain using patch 1.03. hopefully some one will be able to help me with this problem and the previous problem. thank you in advance Trikid69
