  1. Since I like archiving old C&C stuff, and Valentine's is getting closer, here are all the links to the RA3 Uprising Valentine's promo videos from 2009. Wonder how these never got mentioned on the site... Brenda Snow: Dasha Fedorovich: Eva McKenna: Commander Hill: Lydia Winters: Takara Sato: Note to moderators: Don't even attempt to embed these. I've learned posts have a 5 video limit the hard way.
  2. As a New Year's gift, @Lauren (a.k.a. Darth Jane) published an entirely new tool called the Assimilator. The way it works is that it loads any .skudef of a late SAGE game (Tiberium Wars, Kane's Wrath, Red Alert 3, Uprising, or Tiberian Twilight), and then it lists all the W3D animations contained in that game. You can then select any animation, and in the right part of the window, you'll see the XML output of that animation. This way, you won't have to resort to custom art packs to get the animations you need. The tool can be downloaded right here on CNCNZ.com (relevant download pages have been updated). Note that you require Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, or Windows 10 build 1607 or newer with .NET Core 3.x installed.
  3. Hello and this is for a friend of mine who is sort of an artist. and i like to know on how to extract the models from Red Alert 3 and Uprising? Worldbuilder isn't the best for Viewing models accurately like the Naval form of the Giga Fortress. i tried to use cc3tools to extract the assets of the BIG file. https://multiplayerforums.com/files/file/1779-cc3toolszip/ (This is a secondary link The original doesn't seem to work) it sorta works but not the W3D files that i think are the models. can't be save with the binviewer. any steps on how to extract the models from StaticStream.big and view them? (i don't know were Uprising store it's models because i don't have Uprising if it still going to be StaticStream.big that keeps the remaining models.)
  4. So I'd like to start off with: I love this series, It was my introduction to video games at the age of 5. So as a fan of this franchise I play lots of it. I'd like to address my problem with skirmish maps not showing up in the single player skirmish map list (The ones I have installed.) Now I have read posts on this forum about going in to User/username/appdata/roaming/redalert3uprising so on and so forth(yes I enabled show hidden files) And followed the steps there and I cannot figure out what my problem is. At first I thought I had to take the map folder out of its extraction folder (The one that’s empty except for the file containing the map and its various accompanying files.) into the maps folder I had to manually add into the RA3 Uprising. The folder contained only one folder a profiles folder. I've restarted my computer, added just the map files in the map folder, put the un-extracted zip files in the map files in the map folder and then extracted them there. Please note that I have: Windows 10, and The Ultimate Collection version Furthermore The Base game Red Alert 3 likes to prompt me a registration key as the Splash screen shows up before starting the game, then asks to re-confirm the key, except it does it over and over and over again when I click done. The key is already in the box when it asks for it. I don't know if this is a customer service issue or what. I will tell you however; I'm pretty irritated with my ignorance on this issue and not being able to fix it. Please if anyone has any information or help on this please PLEASE help me out here!!!

  9. In this week's edition of Throwback Thursday, we take a look at a unit design which took three concept stages to reach a final game, and was even featured in a mod in the meanwhile. The Centurion Siege Walker was first imagined during the development of Red Alert 2 as a Soviet unit, but apart from two concepts in two camo versions, it never appeared in the game and was apparently not considered for Yuri's Revenge. In the Premier Edition DVD of Red Alert 3, a slightly redesigned version can be seen, but it was again omitted from the game itself, and in 2009, it finally managed to "crawl" to the fans as the Reaper unit in Red Alert 3: Uprising. It has also been prominently featured in the Mental Omega mod for many years, even in the 2.0 days! Remember, you can click on the preview to see a larger and more detailed image. Don't forget to check out the Throwback Thursdays archives if you've missed a week. Check back again next Thursday for another Throwback. Send in your ideas for future instalments. We also encourage you to share this on social media using the hash tags #ThrowbackThursday, #CnCTBT and #CNCNZTBT.

However, if you choose to buy the entire bundle, you can have it for €9,35. This is your chance of getting that game you're missing, commanders. NOTE: The Steam release of Kane's Wrath explicitly requires the Steam release of Tiberium Wars to work.
  11. This week's edition of Throwback Thursday continues with the the "Ladies of C&C" series. And its Jodi Lyn O’Keefe as Kelly Weaver from Red Alert 3: Uprising in 2009. Kelly Weaver was the tough as nails, take no crap spokesperson for the FutureTech Corporation, who frequently addressed the public regarding their concerns over FutureTech's research and development of military hardware for the Allies. Remember, you can click on the preview to see a larger and more detailed image. Don't forget to check out the Throwback Thursdays archives if you've missed a week. Check back again next Thursday for another Throwback. Send in your ideas for future instalments. 13. Here we go with another edition of Throwback Thursday. This week we are looking back one the most unusual looking and way over powered units from Red Alert 3: Uprising in 2009, the almighty Giga-Fortress. It can be said that all of the new units introduced in Uprising were way so over powered but that was ok because since Uprising had no multiplayer modes so it was never case of worrying about the balance of the game. I always felt the Empire of the Rising Sun's Giga-Fortress was one the most unique units added to the game. Starting off as simple floating battle platform, the Giga-Fortress has the ability to transform into a giant flying head. Perhaps they were inspired by Michael Bay for this one. Anyway, once the Giga-Fortress begins flying around as a menacing giant head, it uses the "God's Breath" weapon to destroy all enemies that stand in it's path. And yes the weapon literately spews from it's mouth! The Giga-Fortress was definitely uniquely cool! Check back again next Thursday for another Throwback. Send in your ideas for future instalments. We encourage you to share this on social media using the hash tags #CnCTBT and #CNCNZTBT.
