  9. Hello ladies and gentlemen, my name is Hecthor Doomhammer. After having streamed and played Rise of the Reds for a little over a year, I decided to delve into the core and go back to the beginning and thus I played, for the first time ever, the campaigns of Command & Conquer: Generals and its expansion: Zero Hour. I also want to familiarize myself a little more in the world of Gen / ZH mods and since I am primarily a livestreamer, I came up with the idea of streaming some gameplay of me playing a few different mods for C&C Generals and Zero Hour and give my, unbiased, first impression on them As shown in the video below I have thus far confirmed 4 mods: CNC Holland Generals: Crazy Mod C&C Untitled Generals: Contra The video itself explains pretty much everything except the date I am starting, but that all depends on a few yet unknown factors, so for that I do ask you all to keep your eyes on my Facebook Page where I will make all announcements, every single day on what exactly will be happening on my channel on Twitch And before any one starts naming suggestions, I do suggest you watch THE ENTIRE VIDEO ALL THE WAY TO THE END Enjoy and hopefully see you then!
  10. This video was originally posted just before before we went off-line while we made a our server move. So playing catch up here. 15. Both C&C Generals and it's expansion pack, Zero Hour, have been included the latest Humble Origin Bundle. Also part of the bundle is Dragon Age: Origins, Peggle, Dead Space 2, Medal of Honor Allied Assault War Chest and more. Remember, with Humble Bundle you pay what you want. At retail, these games add up to $134. But you choose to what to pay. If you decide to pay more than the average to get all of those games you will also get Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare, Dragon Age II, Bejeweled 3, and Mass Effect 2. Electronic Arts and Origin are forgoing the profits from this bundle, all of the proceeds that would ordinarily go to them are instead going to charity. So its a good cause. More details are available here.

    C&C Online News

Greetings Generals! We are pleased to announce that statistics recording and, for the very first time in the games' histories, automatic 1v1 ranked ladders have been enabled for Command and Conquer Generals and Zero Hour on C&C:Online. Statistics are now being recorded and display to players in each game as they did under GameSpy. Those statistics, along with a live display of 1vs1 ladder standings are available on Shatabrick. There are plans to display the ladders and statistics on other sites, including the C&C:Online web site and on GameReplays. Presently, ladders and statistics are available only to GenTool users. Statistics recording (but not ladder access) may be made available to non-Gentool users in the future. The ladders in both games are operating a simplified Elo system, where a variable number of points are awarded or deducted for a win or a loss, based on the number of points held by each player. Presently, thirty three points are awarded or deducted for a win or loss between players holding an equal number of points, varying between a minimum of five points and a maximum of sixty points, depending on the points difference between the players. In Zero Hour, the ladder is presently restricted to 1vs1 games played on the official 1vs1 maps, although we intend to extend the map pool in the near future in consultation with players. There are currently no restrictions on the maps which may be played in Generals. For the future, there are plans to add a 2vs2 ladder, a clan ladder and match histories. Unsuspecting players have been competing on the ladders for the last few days now but we'll be resetting the ladders in both games on 14 September so players have a fresh chance to scrabble to the top by the end of the month. After that, we'll be resetting the ladders monthly and will be looking at holding a competition for the top ladder players at the end of each month. So Generals, watch out for the reset and get ranking! View the Generals 1v1 ladder View the Zero Hour 1v1 ladder
