  1. CNCSaga, french C&C fansite, has released its own mod, titled "C&C: FanWars", a standalone Tiberian Sun mod that features three factions: the Baneslayer Order, the Red Alliance and the Tacitus Children.   2. It's been quite a while since we last saw the Tiberium Landscape project by CnCSaga.de being worked on. A few days ago, the people behind it made an impressive looking GDI Space Command Uplink and a Scrin Planetary Assault Carrier WIP.   3. Zéphyr from CnCSaga.com has made a short interview with Jon Van Caneghem two days ago on the new Command & Conquer. Other than restating the campaigns which were announced a few days ago, Van Caneghem explained how the exclusion of oil as a secondary resource was due to the alpha testers' feedback and when can beta applicants expect their keys. Stay tuned for more information from gamescom.
  4. CnCSaga's fourth Birth of a Unit contest ended yesterday. The administrators have had their say and the winners were chosen. The prizes involved the alpha key for the upcoming Command & Conquer game, shirts and Tiberium Alliances funds. There was also an honourary The Ultimate Collection prize.   5. CnCSaga.de is hosting Weekly C&C Fights among its members. Every other Saturday at 7 PM GMT, a tournament will be played, each one in a different Command & Conquer game. Administrators and moderators of other fansites are welcome as well. The first one will be held on August 31st. The rules are available only in German at the moment, but you can take a look at a Google-translated version here until they make a proper English rule set.
  6. After a year's hiatus, the Birth of a Unit contest by the CnCSaga network (all four sites participating) is back! The goal is to create up to three units of one's own design by August 14th and win some awesome prizes! Here are the full rules: Maximum of 3 units It has to be done by YOURSELF Whether you use Paint, Photoshop, your pen or anything else – everything will be accepted It's up to you how you design your unit Admins are not allowed to take part. You may take an existing unit and change its visual appearance Your units will be accepted until 14th August 2013 You can send your units either to CnCSaga.de, CnCSaga.com, CnCSaga.ru or CnCSaga.es All units will be judged by the admins of all CnCSaga sites You can see the rules, e-mails of the judges and prize list in German and English here.
  7. The French site CnCSaga.com holds the monthly fan creation competition, and there are only two days left for June applications. The goal is to make any form of fan art - graphic, costume, video, fanfic etc.) to win a unique Lego minifig - this month, it's a Commando, from the original Command & Conquer.   9. French C&C fansite, CnCSaga, have redesigned their website completely following the addition of a Tiberium Alliances portal. This new look features a background that changes every few seconds, portal icons available at the top and a more fresh-looking image overall. Stop by their website and have a look.
  10. Our friends at CnCSaga.de have created a survey of their own via SurveyMonkey. They'd like to determine what should the next C&C game look like in the fans' eyes in terms of graphics, sound, multiplayer, co-op and other topics.   11. Our friends at CnCSaga.de are still working on their Tiberium Landscapes series of handcraft. The idea behind this contest is to get creative and create your own C&C unit. It can be done in many ways. It could be as simple as a drawing, a 3D model or designed in Lego.
