New Veteran Members Group (Formally Elite)

As you know we have a Ranking System that assigns a small badge next your username. The ranking system only covers 0 to 2500 posts. So with that in mind I felt there should be something after that 2500th post, and that something is the new Veteran Members group.

 

We already have a few in this special group....

• F15pilotX (3,583)
  
• BWare (3,304)
  

So what do get for being in this group?

• Your name is highlighted in bold Cyan text when displayed the Active Users list and forum posts
  
• You get 3 MB upload space, standard members are limited to 1 MB
  
• You can store up to 150 private messages, standard members are limited to 50
  
• Plus you get this special badge below your avatar
  
  

Remember you need 2500 post to become part of this group, once you have posted your 2501st post you will be automatically promoted to this group.

Hmm... After a few days, I dunno, elite feels wrong. I just dislike the implication the term elite brings with it...

 

Though that is probably because I'm the only elite who is posting regularly...

Sorry for bringing this old topic back, I just need to know some stuff. What are the roles and responsibility when you are promoted to be a veteran? Why is the life of a 4 star general rank that short and limits to only when you hit 2,500 post count?
