YuriElite 0 Posted November 16, 2008 (edited) I'm trying to install the latest patch for the First Decade but it keeps on telling me I need to "Please run the application as Administrator". Now this makes no sense because I've got no other user accounts on my computer and I am assigned as an Administrator account. Anyone else having problems installing the patch on Vista, I can't even play Tiberium Sun or Red Alert 2 without it. Edited November 16, 2008 by YuriElite Share this post Link to post
Nyerguds 100 Posted November 16, 2008 (edited) Install this one instead http://forums.commandandconquer.com/jforum...s/list/288.page It has tons more fixes, and doesn't dump a few gigabytes of extra (dupicate) files in your TFD installation. Also make sure you have write access to the entire TFD folder, and that you indeed have administration rights. Vista is a bit tricky with that. Even if you're the 'only user' it doesn't guarantee you have full rights. And there is ALWAYS an administrator account on the PC; it's created automatically during the installation.
