why do hot dogs come in packages of 10 and hot dog buns only 8

this is why i think its so

If 1/2x +1/2(1/2x + 1/2(1/2x +1/2(1/2x is the number of buns then ( [3x - 3x^2 +1]^744 ) x ( [- 3x + 3x^2 +1]^745 ) is the number of hot dogs Therefore 9(60-h) = 6h or 540-9h = 6q. So 540 = 15h

in English

i have no ****ing CLUE

Hot dogs come in 10, buns come in 8 = 2 extra hotdogs.

You ask "WHY?"

I say "It's necessary, one for me, and one for you."

Period.

Please lock this pointless thread.

This man does make the most pointless topics, however this is a thread non-the-less, so we should endevour to answer this mystery for our good friends sanity.

Hmm, he has a point. You don't always have to eat a hot dog in a bun. Maybe they took that into account and gave you two extra dogs for other uses?

I want a hot dog now...

well they sell the extra two buns so that they get the money for them and if you dont need 80 hotdogs those extras will go to waste and next time you will pay for 10 more
