Z3usw0lf 0 Posted April 24, 2011 Ive been using Tibed for about a year or so, and i haven't had this issue before. I have copied two units on TS and the deleted the origionals. Ive made the changes that i wanted(including weapons, strength, names, etc.), but they dont appear in game. Ive set the prerequisite structures and changed their faction requirements...but they just wont appear. Im really confused...Help? Share this post Link to post

Nmenth 289 Posted April 24, 2011 The code for the units you changes, such as: [APC] Name= Amphibious APC Prerequisite=GAWEAP,GAPILE Strength=200 Category=Transport Armor=heavy DeployTime=.022 TechLevel=6 Sight=5 PipScale=Passengers Speed=8 CrateGoodie=yes Owner=GDI AllowedToStartInMultiplayer=no Cost=800 Points=25 ROT=5 Crusher=yes Passengers=5 Explosion=TWLT070,S_BANG48,S_BRNL58,S_CLSN58,S_TUMU60 VoiceSelect=25-I000,25-I002,25-I004,25-I006 VoiceMove=25-I012,25-I014,25-I016,25-I018,25-I022 VoiceAttack=25-I014,25-I022,25-I024,25-I026 VoiceFeedback= MaxDebris=4 DebrisTypes=TIRE DebrisMaximums=6 SpeedType=Amphibious Locomotor={4A582741-9839-11d1-B709-00A024DDAFD1} MovementZone=AmphibiousCrusher ThreatPosed=10 ; This value MUST be 0 for all building addons DamageParticleSystems=SparkSys,SmallGreySSys SpecialThreatValue=1 ZFudgeColumn=10 ZFudgeTunnel=13 Share this post Link to post
ViperGTS 0 Posted April 25, 2011 I have same problem. The prog doesn't apply any changes to file RULES.INI. After progs closing/opening I see all previous values instead of my changes. If I'm editing RULES.INI mannualy (with notepad) it's all ok in game (but I can't use 'SIGHT' more than '9'... why? ). My game is from CNC The First Decade Disk. Share this post Link to post
Nmenth 289 Posted April 25, 2011 I have same problem. The prog doesn't apply any changes to file RULES.INI. After progs closing/opening I see all previous values instead of my changes. You have to "Save changes to game" to alter the Rules.ini, and you have to save a TibEd file and load that file in order to keep changes after closing/opening. (but I can't use 'SIGHT' more than '9'... why? ). You should be able to use up to sight=10, but no higher (11 works, but not correctly). Share this post Link to post

Nmenth 289 Posted April 26, 2011 Nothing jumps out at me... I assume you created the weapons [M4A1] and [F2000] as well? Although they shouldn't prevent the unit from appearing as far as I know. The only thing I can think of is your unit's section title; [Pvt.], I'd suggest you change it to [PVT] and see what happens. Share this post Link to post
Z3usw0lf 0 Posted April 26, 2011 Unfortunnatley, it did'nt work. But i think I have a clue. Could it be possible that it wont change because it checks for administrator access when i try to play? Share this post Link to post
Z3usw0lf 0 Posted April 27, 2011 (edited) AH. Hahaha. I was right...It was the Administrator Privilege level under Properties. All I had to do was go to Compatability and turn it off. Well now that thats outta the way, thanks for the help anyways Edited April 27, 2011 by Z3usw0lf Share this post Link to post
