If you want to make a single snapshot per game, press Print Screen on your keyboard, exit the game, go to Paint, go to Edit -> Paste and save it.

For more snapshots per game, use Fraps. You'll just have to press F10 to make one and it'll show up in the folder where Fraps is installed. No need to register it if you're happy with the free version always saving them in BMP format.

Why use some external software when you can just press F12. The game will save each screen shot in your My Documents/Command and Conquer 4/Screenshots folder.

This is the same for all C&C's since C&C 3/KW, RA3/Uprising etc....

You won't get that silly "Saved as <filename>" message on those shots :P And besides, Fraps uses minimal resources possible to make shots or videos. It even gives you a current FPS rate! What's not to like? (except that I can't record Photoshop with it)

you only get those messages on the screenshots if you take another one while the message is still there.

Xfire is the way forward my son. It takes screenshots and video, and tracks your game playing time. You can also talk to other friends across different games!

Plus Fraps costs money, or at least it used to. :)
