Honestly looking at these brackets, I think TD, RA, and TS, YR should be the final four. We shall see.

There is only one winner, so who cares?

Here's my prediction. I personally don't favor in this direction, this is purely my prediction of how the 95% of people will vote, all residing at the official forums. :P

My reasons for thinking they'll vote this way:

LEFT SIDE

1/2. Firestorm, being as old as it is, will not compare to Zero Hour, specially with people talking about how they want Generals 2 right now.

3/4. Few fans still support and appreciate Tiberian Dawn as much as they know Kane's Wrath. Even if they hated KW, they'll still vote for it cause it's newer.

5/6. Renegade. Wow, this was a tough one. But I think it will win purely on the fact that it is more modern.

7/8. Like Sonic said. No way in hell Twilight will make it in a game vote or a movie vote amongst EA gamers. Red Alert 2.

RIGHT SIDE

1/2. Red Alert 3 is new, people seem to like it. It's just the current thing, so more people will vote for it.

3/4. Most didn't play uprising, as it was download only, and again, people are talking about Generals 2, so they'll vote for normal Generals here.

5/6. Let's face it. Only like 5% of everyone who has played C&C knows what Sole Survivor is. It wasn't in TFD, so yeah, clearly C&C 3 will oust this in a heartbeat.

7/8. Only about 17 people downloaded red alert mobile. 3 of them made youtube videos. Yuri's Revenge will win this one.

Come on, EA. You've made it so simple. :P

Red Alert 2 vs. Zero Hour = Zero Hour? Compose yourself, Zee. And RA3 isn't really that popular, too.

There seems to be an old vs. new theme going on there.

I'm just saying what I think MOST people will vote for.

If you want to see what MY vote would be, this is my own chart. I don't expect to see ANYTHING like this as the final result.

You seem to have forgotten all those negative comments on RA3 for being "too wacky".

You like Sole Survivor better than TW? ROFLMAO.

Red Alert 2 could be the winner in my opinion, but I'm still counting on TS to make it to the finals (even if it is kind of futile since most newcomers don't play older games).

It's going to be a long way to the finish line. As for me, I may be voting for RA1, C&C3 and Generals.

I think the best of all is Tiberian Sun. Altough at first I didn't like it that much, when the time passed by I realized that in this game you can mod anything you want, with hundreds of possibilities... in RA2 you can also do this, but RA2 isn't misterious, nor dark, nor interesting as TS, even the story is crap. TD is a really good game and the first in the series, but it doesn't have good AI nor modding capabilities. In TS you can recreate any other game in the cnc series...

About Generals/Zero Hour... they are C&C just because of the name C&C in the title... Tiberium Wars, Kane's Wrath... good games but ignoring the cannon isn't a good thing for me... RA1... great game, maybe in the same level as TD... and RA3 and Uprising... EA crap (stupid story, bad units, boring gameplay...). C&C4 shouldn't even be in the list.

Time will tell what games will continue to be played in the future... I say TS the most, then Renegade, then Tiberium Wars, but just for mods like TS Rising (that recreates Tiberian Sun) and The Forgotten (brought to C&C3 from Tiberian Sun).

Since when is that a measure for a game's quality?

TD is a really good game and the first in the series, but it doesn't have good AI nor modding capabilities.

Every C&C is moddable, except C&C 4. As for the AI, you should understand that TD is from 1995.

They are canon. They don't ignore anything.

RA3 and Uprising... EA crap (stupid story, bad units, boring gameplay...).

Just because EALA made it, not WW, huh?

I don't really know, but if a game is moddable it can survive through time, take TS for example, it came out in 1999 (12 years ago) and people are still playing it because of its mods. The same with Renegade, from 2002, look at A Path Beyond and that mod that never comes out, Reborn.

Yes, you're right, but the developers when made TS and RA2 made it a lot easier for modders than any other C&C games. I've heard from people who modded C&C3 and got bored because the AI modding is very limited.

And about the AI, well, it's difficult to pick one of these two great games, but I had to find things in TS that TD didn't have.

Of course, they are canon NOW, but they ignored many parts of the story, many of them I can't remember right now, but there were lots of discussions about this on the official forums, don't you remember?

Just because EALA made it, not WW, huh?

You caught me! LOL I have a feeling against EA for legally stealing the C&C franchise, I think it's unfair... but what I said it's really my opinion, the RA series since RA2 (from Westwood) in comparison to the tiberian series have stupid and funny stories. I said bad units because when I play RA3 I make units, do attacks, but I feel they're too weak, something that doesn't happen in RA2. And I also think that the technologies used in RA3 are far too crazy, yes, I know that RA2 tech is really really crazy, but you have "normal" tanks, "normal" ships, "normal" planes, but no walking helicopters, no ships that go to the ground and walk with their legs, no planes that pop out from the water, you know what I mean? So when I play RA3 I have fun but I don't feel very comfortable. To me, RA2 and RA1 gameplay is really entertaining but in RA3 I don't feel the same.

Just opinions...

I came here actually last winter, so I might not have caught these alleged "discussions", but I played C&C 3 and Kane's Wrath campaigns, and there is absolutely nothing left out. It's even surprising how EA managed to memorize the Tiberian Sun storyline :o

You caught me! LOL I have a feeling against EA for legally stealing the C&C franchise, I think it's unfair...

And if WW made the exact same RA3, you would've adored it, huh? EA was the one who hurried the production of Tiberian Sun and Red Alert 2, and each project that WW made behind EA's back (like Earth and Beyond) had failed.

but what I said it's really my opinion, the RA series since RA2 (from Westwood) in comparison to the tiberian series have stupid and funny stories.

RA has always been the sillier brother to the Tiberium universe. Just look at the RA2 campaign characters! Premier Romanov, general Carville... Not to mention certain unit quotes in YR...

I said bad units because when I play RA3 I make units, do attacks, but I feel they're too weak, something that doesn't happen in RA2.

You should play RA2 online. You'll be afraid that even your pack of 10 Apocalypse tanks won't survive for a minute away from the base.

but no walking helicopters, no ships that go to the ground and walk with their legs, no planes that pop out from the water, you know what I mean? So when I play RA3 I have fun but I don't feel very comfortable.

That's what makes RA3 so special. All the conventional boring units are thrown away, and some new unit types were made with some imagination.

standing behind Zee choice i would say RA1 purely because it was fun and it is hard to get sick of. it is the only game to live on all my hdd, on every computer i have owned, and it lives longer as i refuse to uninstall it when i need space.
