TibEd problem with RA2 and YR

Recommended Posts

Red Alert 2 works now. But YR doesn't. When I do that Save Changes to Game, it works for RA2, loads the game, works nice (and funny=Conscripts firing NukePayload). But when I get the option to load the game after saving the changes to the game, I click yes (Game= Yuri's Revenge.) When it starts, it doesn't get to the Loading Menu, it crashes. I do the Conscript firing nukes, it works for RA2. But not for YR.

Just make sure that if you have both RA2 by itself and TFD installed at the same time, TibEd is pointing in the right direction, to the right directory. That's really the best idea I have, I really think there's an issue with where TibEd thinks your game is stored.

You mean Yuri's Revenge?

Do I have to do a full Re-install on both RA2 and YR? (As in, delete the entire folder of RA2 (that has YR materials inside) after removing RA2 and YR?)

Just running the RA2/YR Clean Up tool should be enough, I think. It will remove everything not included in the original install, which means all modifications made. If your mods are easily replaceable, you should definitely do this, but if you made a mod that took a long time and don't want to lose, make a back up of it in another location first.

If nothing else is wrong, I'd suggest deinstalling TibEd, deleting all the files and reinstalling.
