C&C Tiberium Alliances Trailer Released

Recommended Posts

If anyone doubted, they are now proven to be wrong. A

has been released today on the official C&C YouTube channel. It shows much of the gameplay, and we can recognize mostly C&C 3 units and buildings. In the comments section, EA denied that this will be a Facebook game.

Watch the trailer above and feel free discuss it on our forums.

The video got quite negative comments and a payload of dislikes. Too many Westwood whiners over there. They comment on EA being EA and graphics instead of the gameplay. I hope too that it isn't Pay2Win.

idiots what do you expect!

they try to compare a funny WebBraser video game to a normal RTS in our systems!

now that's completely pointless!

i still want to see some gameplay videos and screenshots thought

Well I have registered for the beta. Thing is, if it's not a Facebook app then I assume it's a small game using HTML5 that requires Origin (not through any Internet browser) in order to be loaded.

Pay2Win, that's what most MMORPG and some MMORTS games do. Isn't C&C Tiberium Alliances a MMORTS?

You know the payments will start somewhere. I hope it is just for unnecessary aesthetics, like new unit paint jobs, interface skins, etc., everything I couldn't care less about and would never pay money for, but some people actually would.

Looks like a lot of fun.

I wish it would be a "pay once" kind of game though. I don't mind paying for a good game, as long as I get to own a copy and then that's it (downloadable or not).

It requires a web browser, nothing else (No Origin or FB account or any payment). And it's entirely free, there is nothing to pay for. It's NOT pay-to-win nor Facebook, but it's done in the same style as all those pay-to-win FB games, like Global Warfare.

I'll believe that only after it's finished and released.

An official confirmation of this would be appropriate to refer to. Just saying.

Just reading around various sources, like the YouTube comments on the trailer or here http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2011/12/14/cc-the-browser-game-the-trailer, the reaction is less than positive. However I feel most comments are unjustified because they really don't what this game is. Its almost like some people get the impression this is some huge release game coming to Xbox 360/PS3/PC soon.

Oh and its good to see the usual "EA is killing C&C" and "bring back Westwood" comments everywhere to. Holy ****!! People will never let that go will they

If it's free and it sucks, I'll just stop playing it with nothing lost.

I'm not really into browser games so I doubt I'll be interested.

Play 4 Free.

Pay 2 Win?

You get an internet! :D

Then why did it ask for my Origin name (that I don't have) when signing up for the beta?

lol, Plokite_Wolf has got you there. ;D

But yeah, Origin account. I didn't even have one, it just auto created one for me as I signed up.

An "Origin Account" is an EA Account. You have one, just probably that you didn't set it up to work with Origin. (Which you don't have to)

They just changed the name "EA Account" to "Origin Account", basically.

Oh yeah, I remember I made an EA account when registering RA3 PE. This time it didn't ask for Origin, but they didn't send me any beta codes
