Tiberium Crystal War W3D Beta 1.13 Patch Released

Version 1.13 of the W3D edition of the Tiberium Crystal War mod for C&C Renegade has been released. This is just a patch, which means that you need to have v1.12 installed already. You can see the change log below.

  • Added Configuration shortcut in startmenu
  • Made the Composite Armor Upgrade give +30 HP and AP
  • Made rifle soldiers do more damage to Attack Bikes
  • Give Scorpion a tiny bit extra armor
  • Adjusted Zone Trooper armor taking more damage from shell explosions
  • Adjusted Commando armor to take more damage from shell explosions
  • Snipers kill in 1 shot (not all characters)
  • Chinooks & Barracks/Hand of Nod prevented from being killed & set required points to 3500
  • Fixed TTFS built in downloader
  • Set Pre-Captured Tiberium Spikes to 100% health
  • Reduced Commando reload time by 2 seconds
  • Shadow C4 25% extra damage
  • New Taunt sounds: ^^, chicky, coffee, cya, gg, gotya, nonono, run, skill, smile, snipe, stfu

There are two mirrors for the download:

UPDATE: Due to a severe bug, version 1.14 has now been released. You will need to download and install 1.12, then 1.13 and then finally 1.14.

Note you also need 1.14 now, FIRST install 1.12, then 1.13 and then finally 1.14

There will not be more updates for a while. I only released this last 1.14 update because of a severe bug.

Updates:

- 999 Ammo Bug is now 100% sure fixed thx to Jonwils help

- Fixed GDI Harvester tracks, they're moving now

- Added Stolen Technology Nod GDI Harvester model to the game (PT Icon needs updating still)

- New skin for GDI Rifle Soldier

- New Help Screen (F1 key) describing various aspects of the game for new players

- Manual harvesting blue tiberium gives you $1600 ($200 extra compared to the AI Harvester) and 75 points

- Manual harvesting green tiberium gives you $800 ($100 extra compared to the AI Harvester) and 50 points

- Fixed a bug that allowed stealing tech from Nod Weapons Factory even when it was dead

Yea we had to fix a 'severe' bug that was really annoying. No more updates coming for a while now :)

Working on 1.20 which will have alot of new stuff again :)

I guess what Plokite_Wolf is meaning you should spread your releases out more rather than making minor changes then rolling a new version. Your not Mozilla popping out a new version of Firefox here ;) Of course though if you discover a major game breaking bug then yeah issue a fix/patch/update as fast as you can I guess.

 

Not insulting you, just offering some friendly advice :)

Yep, it was to fix a bug we didnt spot until i had already uploaded the other patch lol :/ had to quickly fix it

We wont do any updates for a while, we working out other things and then release 1.20 :)

 

Stealing technology from Barracks and Hand of Nod works now :D
