BigJoe 4 Posted May 23, 2012 The core concept of C&C is innovation and so they appealed to my desire for the most fun. Base building is passe. You do understand base building is annoying, it clutters the board, and slows the game down. And yet, even without bases, C&C 4 still manages to be cluttered and slow... Share this post Link to post

Hippox77 0 Posted June 14, 2012 (edited) My faith in anything that EA has its fingers in, is: 'none at all'. That said, I hope EA will change its ways - and make this a respectable game. I'll still wont support EA for a loooooong time, though. They should just go back to solid, old game mechanics and drop the short-lasting 'cinematic' effects. Edit: and that DLC stuff is beyond lame. I mean it doesn't exactly fill me with confidence about the game, to say it mildly. Edited June 14, 2012 by Hippox77 Share this post Link to post
BigJoe 4 Posted June 14, 2012 Games in general have been taking a more cinematic approach for the last five years or so. I doubt that it's going to go away any time soon... Share this post Link to post
DrZoid99 0 Posted June 21, 2012 With almost all the Westwood staff gone to Petroglyph I don't know what to expect. The focus shift to MP is kinda bad IMO because as much as there are mp fans out there, there are also tons of sp fans. Lets not forget that sp and the story are some of the key points that made C&C such a success. MP natural place is usually secondary to a well established sp - as we have seen in recent gaming titles, the MP focus causes them to become more and more clones of each other rather than have a uniuqe individual appeal. Traymen 6 Posted June 25, 2012 I rather doubt in "huge base" of SP fans. Share this post Link to post

Traymen 6 Posted June 26, 2012 I don't. RA3 and C&C4 had good plots? I don't think so... the multiplayer was just fine (imbalanced RA3 and slow C&C4). Share this post Link to post

And even if I didn't, just because the last two games had ****ty campaigns, does that mean the entire potential player base is gone? I don't think so. 2 Share this post Link to post

I felt like wachting low - fund porn movie, in which girls were to prude to show their tits. It was nothing similar to great RA2. Even game mechanics were screwed - co-op AI is totally useless. The only thing this game have good cast. Edited June 27, 2012 by Traymen Share this post Link to post
Plok 316 Posted June 27, 2012 The multiplayer in RA3 is just kickass. Singleplayer could've had a more interesting story but the cast was great. And you probably never touched the commands for the co-commanders in the campaign. They can be really useful. Share this post Link to post

CoH, SC? It is difficult to talk about MP experience while opponent knows only the mechanics from C&C, which were supported by global ESL league just for few seasons... P.S. AI in co-op will never end the fight... never ever... Share this post Link to post
