low resolution in zero hour recently

Recently I re-insalled my C&C zh however I discovered no matter what resolution i put in game options (vailable resolutionsa re 800x600, 1024x768, 1920X1184, the game starts in very low resolution with zoomed-in view so I cant get a good birds eye view. I also have two computers and on both it is the case. Is there any help there tricks and tips on this? Thanks!

Download and install GenTool. It fixes problems like resolutions and widescreen support. You can download it from http://www.cncnz.com/downloads/zerohour/utilities/#5

hI The tools installed fine. However when I start ZH it complained it does not work with the current game version. Under control panel->Program I see

zero hour version is 1.00.0000

generals version is 0.50.0000

You can download the latest patches from CNCNZ.com as well. From the main page, click Downloads, find the Generals and Zero Hour sections and click Official patches.

thanks, i noticed after isntalling gentool it somehow triggered update on oen of the pc. on other pc lot more choices of resolution became available. it works now. thansk!
