HOPE1134 28 Posted November 28, 2018 (edited) Went from a 1070 to a 1080 Ti a few months ago. Sold the 1070 to a friend. I also ordered an Audio-Technica ATH-M40x headphones, should be getting them soon. https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N108TGAMING-OC-11GD#kf https://www.audio-technica.com/cms/headphones/75b2f282c93a7651/index.html Edited November 28, 2018 by HOPE1134 1 Share this post Link to post
PurpleGaga27 37 Posted November 28, 2018 Wow. You must have earned a fortune to get that. While the 1070 and 1080 prices have dropped, it still probably cost a few hundred dollars more (over the 1070) to get a 1080 Ti OC. Share this post Link to post
HOPE1134 28 Posted February 28, 2019 Swapped out the Cooler Master 212 with an NZXT Kraken M22 Liquid Cooler Share this post Link to post
F15pilotX 4 Posted May 3, 2020 (edited) Finally upgraded last year for the first time in a while. Absolutely love the case, probably my favorite of all time. Got the 1080 Ti off ebay after reading a lot of reviews to figure out who was legit. ---- Case: Phanteks Enthoo Evolv - Silver, Tempered GlassMotherboard: MSI Z270 XPower Gaming TitaniumCPU: Intel i7-7700KRAM: 16GB G.Skill TridentZ DDR4 3200Graphics: GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Gaming X 11G Fans - PC isn't with me atm but pretty sure it's still a mix of Cooler Master Hyper ### EVO for the CPU and Noctuas for case fans. Monitor : LG 27" 4k IPS with HDR (27UL500-W) The monitor isn't as big as others, but I wanted brightness over size. Not really a gaming monitor but I use it for work + watching movies too, and that justified the 4k for games like Odyssey Edited May 3, 2020 by F15pilotX 1 Share this post Link to post
PurpleGaga27 37 Posted July 22, 2020 (edited) For the first time in over a decade, I replaced a potato PC with a new primary custom PC: Primary PC: Case/PSU: Custom recycled midtower case with Thermallake power @ 500W Motherboard: Asus Prime B365M-A CPU: Intel Core i3-9100f @ 3.6 ghz CPU Cooler: Intel stock fan RAM: Oloy 32GB DDR4-2666 RAM Dual Channel Video: EVGA Geforce GTX 1050 Ti OC with 4GB GDDR5 VRAM SSD: 1TB Silicon Power SATAIII (two partitions for Win7 and 10 64-bit) HDD: 2TB Western Digital Caviar Blue SATAIII (spare) Optical drive: LG 16x Blu-ray writer Sound Card: Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Display: HP 25" widescreen LED HD monitor (plugged in with HDMI) Speakers: Creative 2.1 ch speakers with subwoofer Input: Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse Pic: https://twitter.com/PurpleGaga27/status/1286151220810285056 Edited July 23, 2020 by PurpleGaga27 1 Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted July 22, 2020 Well damn, son.... Congrats! Not that you need all that firepower for the remasters Share this post Link to post
PurpleGaga27 37 Posted July 23, 2020 (edited) Meh, I wasn't there for the C&C remasters. I am for Cities Skylines which is a game that needed a lot of CPU and RAM power. I might need to upgrade a new video card soon, possibly aiming for a GeForce RTX 3060 with a much better smoother 4K gaming. Also in need are a 4K monitor and a 1TB SSD on a PCI-Express chip so I can install any game that is 100+ GB. Edited July 23, 2020 by PurpleGaga27 1 Share this post Link to post
