This is a multiple choice question so you can choose more than one choice and this poll excludes GTA V.

As for me, none of the above unless I get my hands on a PC version of GTA V first.

None of the above. Don't have the money to spare, nor the need for any of the presented choices. I don't like the newer COD/BF games. I have zero interest in the Xbox platform, but I still own a PS2 though...

That's a very restrictive list for the holiday season. There's a whole lot more than two games and two consoles that one could buy before the end of the year.

I have bought all the games I have found to be interesting this year.(Shadow Warrior 2013, Arma 3, WarGame AirLand Battle) all of them pretty awesome.

But I'll be getting a Corsair K70 Keyboard with Cherry MX Brown switches and maybe a Radeon R9 290x, maybe.

None of the above for me -- although this wasn't always the case. I was planning on purchasing an Xbox One, but I've figured that waiting a year or two would be better decision as I definitely do not want to buy another hardware failure prone console like I did back in 2006; my Xbox 360 broke FOUR times. My first Xbox broke in the space of six months, and I only had one game that I played -- sparingly. Worst console ever, in terms of reliability. Waiting and watching will determine if any of the two consoles have a glaring hardware issue like the infamous RROD.

Hopefully, E3 2014 will have some new interesting titles announced for the consoles. The launch line-up is also not great, in my opinion.

Anyway, I'm just going to buy a few older games and indie titles. I wish I could buy CoD: Ghost and play with my friends but unfortunately my Xbox pooped out again so screw fixing that. CoD is not fun playing alone.

I'm keeping an eye on console specials, and just starting look at historical price decreases. It seems PS3 and Xbox360 last over a year before they were forced to reduce price - so it will be interesting to see what packages the retailers are putting out and if I can be bothered to wait. The console may only be $600 in Australia - but i"ll have to spend at least $1000 for extra controllers, year's subscription and at least two games. So now it's a matter of do I need it before Christmas, or can I wait until after New Year's for some aggressive price matching and other sales.

I kinda like the drama of opening a big shiny box of Christmas day... which affects my normally spendthrift ways.

BF4 is pre ordered and waiting to go. :D

As for consoles, I'll get a PS4 in time though not any time soon, no reason to really.

Well they are the most popular products for release after GTA V.

Edit: Added an option "other product" to the poll.

Nice! Yeah Arma is great.

I'll be buying a custom keyboard from http://www.wasdkeyboards.com/ preferably with Cherry MX Clear switches (if they are out of stock I'll go fro brown ones).

I will also be buying a new gamer headset. I have no clue which one though.

Unity 4.3 Pro + Android Pro Add on ^_^ (I wish)

In the real world, I think I'll just stick with my standard game development tools and settle instead for some Blu-Rays, a Steam & OUYA Voucher and Terry Pratchett's latest Discworld Novel - Raising Steam.

I moved out and my parents are footing my school loans, so pretty restricted. I'm going to be prowling for Steam deals and just play some games I have on backlog. I am sort of considering a Nintendo 3DS because I haven't had a handheld game station in a looooooooong time and I hate playing games on my phone. I wanna play the new Pokemon and Animal Crossing since I haven't played Pokemon in ages (the new ones) and never have touched an Animal Crossing game and they look like some fun.

What I'll be getting?

A new PC.

Ohhhh, now that's exciting :)

I agree, what the hell is the point? Do any of the major developers and publshers even show any support for it? Plus I've always thought of it as an ugly little thing....

It runs on Android so no major developers or publishers are working on it. It's not going to make any waves unless it really brings something to the table besides indie games I can get on my PC.

What - you don't like a console that is smaller than it's controller?

;)

Says the owner of the xbone who needed to buy a second house just to fit that console in!
