PS4 v Xbox One

I saw a random side by side photo yesterday of the two new consoles and I was shocked by size differences... Apparently they weigh about the same 3kg and 2.8kg - so the bigger xbox is supposed to have space to help with overheating. This means I'll have to buy a 84" TV just to keep everything in proportion!

Yeah the Xbox One is a beast alright! As you said there is apparently extra space inside the unit to help with cooling. Not overheating The extra space is to prevent that. There are stories about that the PS4 get really hot.

I plan to buy both but not right now. The current crop of games doesn't appeal to me. Except for NBA 2K14, not buying a $700 console for 1 game.

Meh, I am not interested in any of those consoles yet. Limited game titles at the start of release and the GTA V release for these consoles is still far away.

Well I opened it and turned it on to make sure I didn't get a brick and installed the 500gb mandatory update... but back in the box it went and locked it away.
