PurpleGaga27 37 Posted August 27, 2014 (edited) 2015 may be the year of better and bigger movies (not games though), if only they stayed to be epic. Here's the partial list (sorry Avatar 2 isn't in it until 2016) Star Wars VII Avengers: Age of Ultron Terminator (5): Genisys Jurassic World (aka Jurassic Park 4) SPECTRE (James Bond 24) Mission Impossible 5 Fast & Furious 7 The Hunger Games: Mockingjay (part 2) Fifty Shades of Grey The others, hard to predict: Transporter Legacy Jupiter Ascending Rambo V Taken 3 Ant-Man Goosebumps Frankenstein Assassin's Creed (the next video game movie adaptation) Cinderella (remake on a motion picture) Insurgent (2nd of the Divergent series) San Andreas (not related to GTA) Fantasic Four (reboot) -- IDK why Marvel decided to waste producing a new movie with this. The one from a decade ago looks good as it is. Questionable for 2015: IP Man 3D (the next great 3D Chinese movie after The Monkey King) The ExpendaBelles (still no word of the current production and no complete cast has been set) Splinter Cell (another video game movie adaptation still in the works) Edited January 9, 2015 by zocom7 Share this post Link to post
Guest Rabbit Posted August 27, 2014 Assassin's Creed movie, huh? I hope the first hour isn't the protagonist walking around talking to people on a ship. Looking forward to Rambo V and Insurgent though. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted August 28, 2014 You just know they're going to butcher that Assassins Creed movie, just totally and uttery butcher it. Can't believe they're making another Avatar movie, the first one, whilst pretty, was so ****ing stupid it still hurts my head. Share this post Link to post
FRAYDO 4 Posted January 9, 2015 looking forward to jurassic world, and there's not a James Bond movie i don't like the rest on that list don't seem to interest me, although i may catch them anyway Share this post Link to post
CyborgBanana 5 Posted January 22, 2015 Star Wars VII This is the movie I'm anticipating the most, I'm hyped but my expectations aren't impossible to meet. Just don't make it like Episode I Disney and we'll get along just fine... The excitement surrounding this movie may make it difficult to please the wider audience though. Share this post Link to post
PurpleGaga27 37 Posted January 23, 2015 The first epic movie of 2015 is a surprising one, Clint Eastwood's American Sniper took over $105 million USD last weekend, and that movie was based and tributed on the late Chris Kyle, notably known for being the most lethal sniper in US history. The next movie release this week might be the pre-cursor to Fifty Shades of Grey, J. Lo's The Boy Next Door (which is the opposite of "The Girl Next Door"). Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 40 Posted February 2, 2015 Fifty Shades of Gray as a movie to watch? Are you high, zocom? That book was ****ing awful. Share this post Link to post
PurpleGaga27 37 Posted February 2, 2015 (edited) Well I read the entire trilogy of it and it's long, tedious and peculiar. I thought that title was influenced from the hit TV series of Grey's Anatomy. If you are not interested, don't watch it. I am sure there are some people who might be curious with that movie. I don't mind watching that movie until it hits the Blu-ray. Edited February 2, 2015 by zocom7 Share this post Link to post
Gben 20 Posted February 11, 2015 American Sniper - is a Clint Eastwood flic. Well now I am interested in watching it. Although I think I'll always struggle to see Snipers as heroes... just one step away from pressing a computer button in a hardened bunker on the other side of the world to launch a missile. Luk3us 63 Posted February 12, 2015 Although I think I'll always struggle to see Snipers as heroes... just one step away from pressing a computer button in a hardened bunker on the other side of the world to launch a missile. There is an Ethan Hawke movie about drone pilots coming out too. Share this post Link to post
Gben 20 Posted February 12, 2015 I thought you were talking about the new 'top gun' movie which also apparently is going to use drones. So I looked up the Ethan Hawke trailer Good pedigree of people behind the scenes. We'll probably still pass on this one. Great line though... PurpleGaga27 37 Posted August 9, 2015 So far this year: American Sniper --> a surprising win Fifty Shades of Grey --> a 50-shades win Fast and Furious 7 --> an epic win for a another great sequel Avengers Age of Ultron --> so-so but still a win Insurgent --> so-so but not much of a win Jurassic World --> an epic win for a reboot Terminator Genisys --> an epic fail for a reboot Fantastic Four --> a fail and a flop for a reboot (the original in 2005 was better and now there's word of a 2017 sequel) Mission Impossible Rogue Nation --> an impossible win but getting better Spectre --> ??? (so far the plot of a rebooted organzation -- something is missing there) Star Wars 7 --> ??? (plot TBA but I can tell it's not epic) I am getting tired of movie reboots. I wish Dune gets a reboot.
