Human Resources - RTS game by Uber

Recommended Posts

MP4 video files can't be embed on our forums like YouTube etc... but I found the video on YouTube anyway.

The game has a unique look, that's all I can say about it though.

I'd be cautious around this one, Uber's last game, Planetary Annihilation doesn't seem to be very good...

That being said the trailer looks pretty funny. :D

Looks incredible... I'm really interested to see progress on the possible new factions.

The video was done to represent concepts in practice or gameplay, maybe with the future game engine.

Yet, the idea is very good, I hope they succeed.

Yope.

Bitter irony: due to lack of human resources.

I just read that news today too. I guess that's one good thing in favour of Kickstarter... your reputation precedes you.

Good and bad.

Maybe, but I think that people are less inclined to hand over their cash to Kickstarters now. The golden age is over...

Well unless your Star Citzen, in which case money flows like no tomorrow.

Yeah the golden age of winning, based on potential or nostalgia is over... now they* expect and judge by the results.

Maybe it should return to the idea of kick-starting a project, and then turning to mega houses to finish the project. Kinda contradictory thought there though I guess.
