Sounds very ambitious, but good luck with your project. CNCNZ.com is here to help with any promotion and news you may want us to cover.

The game is based on West Woods cancelled version Command & Conquer Renegade II Battle Grounds.

For the record Westwood never called Renegade 2 "Battle Grounds" or "Battlegrounds". The name "Battlegrounds" was actually used when C&C Renegade was first pitched to EA, but EA was quick to shoot it down. Renegade was also called for C&C Commando for the early part of it's development, it was later changed to Renegade of course. I recommend you watch these 3 videos with Louis Castle discussing the history of C&C at Westwood from CommandCom 2009 http://www.cncnz.com/features/other-specials/commandcom-2009-louis-castle-presentation-history-of-command-conquer/

You guys should contact the RenX mod team. Perhaps they'll share the FPS/coding/programming/scripting work they've already done with you, that should simplify a lot of the work.
