neojames82 6 Posted January 24, 2015 (edited) So you too seem to throw everything (both good and bad) of the franchise's history out of the window just because EA isn't planning a new C&C? No, not at all. I still honor the past of the series. Hell it is what got me into RTS! Sorry if I didn't imply that. I guess really the term I would use for myself is not really apathy and more just very sad and disappointed on the direction that C&C went. Plok 319 Posted January 24, 2015 It's called buyer beware when purchasing C&C:TUC. Yeah, that Beta access promotion you can consider terminated. All promotions can be terminated without prior warning at "X" publisher's discretion. They used to promise 30-days-in-advance notices... The C&C2013 beta was handled poorly. RA3 and the cancelled C&C Arena had a deadline by which you were allowed to claim your code from Kane's Wrath amd the RA3 Premier Edition respectively, allowing only people who were REALLY eager to play them test them, instead of kids who just want to grab the game ASAP and then complain on how unfinished it is. Ravendark 43 Posted January 25, 2015 Everyone should learn NOT to pay for something that isnt finished. You are basicly paying the dev/publisher for testing their incomplete buggy game.....testing and debugging should be in the budget of development. You want community participation or feedback...FREE open or closed alpha/beta. Payed early access in whatever form is a ****ing scam waiting to happen....take a look at some of the early access **** spamming the steam front page, and read some of the 'cautionary' tales that come with those or others that ceased development and shattered participants dreams and wallets. Early access is a disease in the current game industry. Also as to buying TUC for a beta key...that is like marrying the ugly, troll like sister just for a rumour that she has another hot sister...rumour busted and now you will be stuck in a loveless marriage with something so hidious you can't even look at it. 1 Share this post Link to post
Troopzor 5 Posted January 28, 2015 I bought it just for the games I bought it for the games and the collectable picture it came with. (the beta access was just an added bonus) Share this post Link to post
neojames82 6 Posted January 28, 2015 I'll have to agree with the last few posts from others. If you bought a game for an unknown C&C beta alone, then you are pretty foolish. Share this post Link to post
